Abstrak

This research aims to (1) analyze the potency and the condition to develop students’ worksheet of Science as Science Teaching Material on living creature interaction material with environment, (2) analyze the characteristics of Teaching Material of students’ worksheet of Science, (3) produce teaching material of Science students’ worksheet that was used as learning sources of Science material of living creature interaction with environment, (4) analyze the effectiveness use of Science students’ worksheet, (5) analyze the efficient use of Science students’ worksheet, and (6) analyze the interest use of science students’ worksheet. The research used research and development approach, conducted at Junior High School 1 Gunung Sugih, Junior High School 4 Gunung Sugih and Junior High School Tri Jaya Gunung Sugih. The data collecting technique used questionnaires, the analysis was done through 3 aspects, namely the effectiveness test which used gain test, efficiency test and interest test by using descriptive and qualitative methods. The conclusion of the research are : (1) JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Negeri 4 GunungSugih are potential to develop science students worksheet teaching material, (2) the characteristics of Science students’ worksheet which is developed is inquiry students’ worksheet in which the students find by themselves the concept and the principal of materials learnt, (3) the result of this development is the product of science worksheet teaching material which is validated by media expert, material expert, and learning design expert, (4) teaching material of science students’ worksheet is effective use as the media of learning that is proved with the gain scores of treatments class namely 0,54 > 0,36 of control class gain score, (5) the use of science students’ worksheet is efficient as learning media proved with efficient ratio scores of learning 1,30, (6) the learning material of science students’ worksheet is interesting used with mean of interest try out scores 3,25. Key words : Teaching Material, Science, Students’ Worksheet Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis potensi dan kondisi untuk pengembangan LKS IPA sebagai Bahan Ajar IPA pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan, (2) menganalisis karakteristik Bahan Ajar LKS IPA, (3) menghasilkan Bahan Ajar LKS IPA yang digunakan sebagai sumber belajar IPA materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan, (4) menganalisis efektifitas penggunaan LKS IPA, (5) menganalisis efisiensi penggunaan LKS IPA, dan (6) menganalisis kemenarikan penggunaan LKS IPA. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan, dilakukan di SMP N 1 Gunung Sugih, SMPN 4 Gunung Sugih dan SMP Tri Jaya Gunung Sugih. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan angket, analisis dilakukan pada 3 aspek, yaitu pengujian efektifitas menggunakan uji gain, uji efisiensi dan uji daya tarik dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: (1) SMP Negeri 4 Gunung Sugih berpotensi untuk pengembangan bahan ajar LKS IPA, (2) karakteristik bahan ajar LKS IPA yang dikembangkan adalah LKS Inkuiri dimana siswa menemukan sendiri konsep dan prinsip dari materi yang dipelajari, (3) hasil dari pengembangan ini adalah berupa produk bahan ajar LKS IPA yang divalidasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli desain pembelajaran, (4) bahan ajar LKS IPA efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dibuktikan dengan nilai gain untuk kelas perlakuan yaitu 0,54 > 0,36 nilai gain kelas kontrol, (5) penggunaan bahan ajar LKS IPA efisien sebagai media pembelajaran dibuktikan dengan nilai rasio efisiensi pembelajaran sebesar 1,30, (6) bahan ajar LKS IPA menarik digunakan dengan rata-rata skor uji coba kemenarikan sebesar 3,25.
