Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Salah satu sistem irigasi yang memungkinkan untuk mengatur jumlah air sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanaman adalah sistem irigasi tetes. Selama ini penjadwalan pemberian air pada irigasi tetes hanya menggunakan pengatur waktu (timer). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan alat yang mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, yaitu dengan merancang suatu mikrokontroler pengatur pemberian air irigasi pada sistem irigasi tetes secara otomatis berdasarkan perubahan kadar air tanah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2014 - Agustus 2014 di Green House dan Laboratorium Rekayasa Sumber Daya Air dan Lahan Jurusan Teknik Pertanian Universitas Lampung. Parameter pengamatan dalam penelitian ini adalah perubahan kadar air, debit aliran irigasi, keseragaman penetes dan bulk density. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 jenis media tanam, yaitu pasir, tanah Podzolik Merah Kuning (PMK) dan campuran tanah PMK dengan pupuk organik nitrofosfat (kompos). Dari hasil uji kalibrasi alat didapatkan fungsi linear untuk media pasir y = – 0.23x + 46.96 dengan persentase error ± 5.22%, kemudian untuk media tanah PMK dan kompos y = – 0.71x + 104.07 dengan persentase error ± 2.92%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keseragaman irigasi yang sangat tinggi, yaitu rata-rata CU sebesar 96.50% dan rata-rata SU sebesar 96.85%. Kata Kunci: Irigasi tetes, kadar air tanah, dan mikrokontroler. Abstract Bahasa Inggris One of the irrigation system that allows to regulate the amount of water needed by crop is a drip irrigation system. Formerly, the schedule of water irrigation in drip irrigation only used a timer. This research makes a tool design which is able to overcome these problems, that is by designing a microcontroller which is able to regulate the provision of irrigation water in drip irrigation systems automatically based on change of soil water content. This study was conducted in May 2014 – August 2014 at the Greenhouse and Water and Land Resources Laboratory of Agricultural Engineering Department, University of Lampung. The parameters observed in this study are the change of soil water content, irrigation flow rate, bulk density of soil, and dripper uniformity. This study uses three types of growing medium, i.e. sand, red-yellow podzolic soil, and mix soil with organic nitrofosfat fertilizer. Calibration tests showed a linear function, for sand medium y = – 0.23x + 46.96 with percent error ± 5.22%, for red-yellow podzolic soil and mix soil with organic nitrofosfat fertilizer medium y = – 0.71x + 104.07 with percent error ± 2.92%. The results showed a high irrigation uniformity, the value of average CU = 96.50% and value of average SU = 96.85%. Keywords: Drip irrigation, microcontroller, and soil water content.
