Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) interaksi antara penerapan LKS inkuiri terbimbing dan LKS verifikasi serta motivasi berprestasi siswa terhadap penguasaan materi suhu dan kalor, (2) perbedaan rata-rata penguasaan materi suhu dan kalor antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menerapkan LKS inkuiri terbimbing dan LKS verifikasi, (3) perbedaan rata-rata penguasaan materi suhu dan kalor antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menerapkan LKS inkuiri terbimbing dan LKS verifikasi bagi siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi, (4) perbedaan rata-rata penguasaan materi suhu dan kalor antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menerapkan LKS inkuiri terbimbing dengan LKS verifikasi bagi siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi rendah. Penelitian ini berjenis eksperimental dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 180 orang yang terbagi dalam 6 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Kelas eksperimen menggu- nakan media LKS inkuiri terbimbing dan kelas kontrol menggunakan media LKS verifikasi, masing-masing kelas terdiri dari 30 orang siswa. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes dan angket. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Anava dua jalur dengan bantuan program SPSS 17.0. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini antara lain: (1) ada interaksi antara penerapan LKS inkuiri terbimbing dengan penerapan LKS verifikasi serta motivasi berprestasi terhadap penguasaan materi suhu dan kalor. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh nilai F hitung pada output Anova sebesar 48,32 dengan sig 0,025, (2) rata-rata penguasaan materi suhu dan kalor bagi siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menerapkan LKS inkuiri terbimbing sebesar 79,00 dan yang menerapkan LKS verifikasi sebesar 74,00. (3) rata-rata penguasaan materi suhu dan kalor bagi siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi dan menerapkan LKS inkuiri terbimbing sebesar 75,73 dan yang menerapkan LKS verifikasi sebesar 75,20, (4) rata-rata penguasaan materi suhu dan kalor bagi siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi rendah dan menerapkan LKS inkuiri terbimbing sebesar 71,20 dan yang menerapkan LKS verifikasi sebesar 68,20. Kata Kunci: LKS inkuiri terbimbing, motivasi berprestasi dan penguasaan materi The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the interaction between the application of guided inquiry and verification worksheets and achievement motivation of students toward mastery of the material temperature and heat, (2) differences in the average mastery of the material temperature and heat between the students who followed the learning by applying of guided inquiry and verification worksheets, (3) the differences in the average mastery of the material temperature and heat between the students who followed the learning by applying of guided inquiry and verification worksheets for students who have high achievement motivation, (4) differences in the average mastery of the material temperature and heat between the students who followed the learning by applying the guided inquiry and verification worksheets for students who have low achievement motivation. This type of experimental research with a 2x2 factorial design. The population in this study as many as 180 people that are divided into 6 classes. Sampling was done purposively which consists of two classes. Experimental class using guided inquiry worksheets media and media control class using verification worksheets, each class consists of 30 students. Retrieval of data in this study carried out by the method of tests and questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using Anava two paths with the help of SPSS 17.0. The conclusion of this study include: (1) there is an interaction between the application of guided inquiry worksheets with the application of verification worksheets and achievement motivation toward mastery of the material temperature and heat. This is evidenced by the calculated F value of 48.32 with Anova output sig 0.025, (2) the average temperature and heat mastery of the material for students who follow learning by applying the guided inquiry worksheets for 79.00 and verification worksheets that apply by 74 , 00. (3) the average temperature and heat mastery of the material for students who have high achievement motivation and apply the guided inquiry worksheets for 75.73 and 75.20 apply for verification worksheets, (4) the average temperature and heat mastery of the material for students who have low achievement motivation and apply the guided inquiry worksheets for 71.20 and 68.20 apply for verification worksheets.
