Abstract

ABSTRAK FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENYEBAB KONFLIK DALAM PELAKSANAAN PEMILIHAN GUBERNUR LAMPUNG TAHUN 2013 Oleh ANDRIALIUS FERAERA Adanya konflik kebijakan antara KPU Lampung dan Gubernur Lampung membuat pelaksanaan Pilgub Lampung tahun 2013 terhambat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab konflik dan menjelaskan dampak konflik dalam pelaksanaan pemilihan Gubernur Lampung tahun 2013. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori penyebab konflik dan teori dampak konflik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif dan teknik analisis data dengan teknik triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa faktor penyebab konflik dalam pelaksanaan pemilihan Gubernur Lampung tahun 2013 adalah faktor kepercayaan, faktor kepentingan, komunikasi dan faktor legal formal. Sementara itu dampak yang terjadi adalah pertama membawa masalah-masalah yang diabaikan sebelumnya secara terbuka dan memotivasi orang lain untuk memahami setiap posisi orang lain. Kedua munculnya ide-ide baru dan meningkatkan kualitas keputusan pelaksanaan Pilgub Lampung. Ketiga, menyebabkan tekanan yang dialami oleh pihak yang berkonflik. Keempat, interaksi yang lebih rendah. Kelima, menimbulkan prasangka negatif dan terakhir membentuk kelompok-kelompok baru. Kata kunci: Pemilihan Gubernur Lampung, Konflik, Penyebab dan Dampak ABSTRACT FACTORS AS THE CAUSE OF CONFLICT IN GOVERNOR ELECTION OF LAMPUNG IN 2013 By ANDRIALIUS FERAERA The existence of conflict of policy between KPU of Lampung and Governor of Lampung in the implementation of governor election of 2013 made it run late. This research was intended to found out factors behind the conflict and explained the effect of the conflict in its implementation of the governor election of Lampung. Theories used in this research was conflict cause theory and conflict impact theory. This research was considered as qualitative research in descriptive. Based on research done, it can be inferred that the factors as the cause of conflict in the election of Lampung governor were trust issue, conflict of interest, communication, and legality-formality factors. Meanwhile, the impact occurred was the rise of the previous problem transparently and motivated the society to comprehend everyone’s position at the very first place. The second was the appearance of new ideas and improving the quality of decision taken in Lampung governor election in 2013. The third was the pressure suffered by society involved in conflict. Forth, low interaction resulted. The last, the conflict triggered negative prejudice which then it would create separatism movement in new groups.
