Abstrak

Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Gedongtataan tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1 dan X2 yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran TPS efektif diterapkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of TPS type to increase student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. This research design was posttest only control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade 10thof SMAN 1 Gedongtataan in academic years of 2013/2014. The samples of this research were students of X1 and X2 who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical conceptual understanding. Based on hypothesis analysis, it was gotten the conclusion that the implementation of TPS learning model was effective to increase student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.
