Abstrak

Penelitian bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis keunggulan kompetitif dan keunggulan komparatif usahatani manggis di Kabupaten Tanggamus, (2) menganalisis kepekaan keunggulan kompetitif dan keunggulan komparatif usahatani manggis di Kabupaten Tanggamus terhadap perubahan input dan output. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Tanggamus. Jumlah responden adalah 45 petani yang dipilih secara acak berdasarkan umur tanaman. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix). Untuk mempertajam analisis digunakan analisis kepekaan (sensitivitas). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) usahatani manggis di Kabupaten Tanggamus memiliki keunggulan kompetitif yang (ditunjukkan oleh nilai PCR (Private Cost ratio) sebesar 0,349) dan memiliki keunggulan komparatif (dengan nilai DRCR (Domestic Resource Cost Ratio) sebesar 0,494). Keuntungan privat dan sosial yang diterima adalah Rp55.511.036 dan Rp114.266.941. Biaya usahatani terdiri dari input tradable dan faktor domestik. Input tradable meliputi pupuk urea, SP-36, KCL, dan pestisida. Faktor domestik meliputi tenaga kerja, modal dan lahan. (2) daya saing usahatani manggis di Kabupaten Tanggamus hanya sensitif terhadap penurunan produksi sebesar 20% dan penurunan harga output sebesar 30%. The study aims to (1) analyze the competitive and comparative advantages in farming mangosteen Tanggamus, (2) analyze the sensitivity of competitive and comparative advantages in farming mangosteen Tanggamus to changes in input prices and output This research was carried out in Tanggamus District. The respondent of this research was 45 farmers. The respondent was chosen using simple random sampling according to the age of plants. The study employs PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix). The sensitivity analysis was used to elaborate the analysis. The results showed that (1) mangosteen farming in Tanggamus have a competitive advantage (indicated by the value of PCR (Private Cost Ratio) 0,349) and comparative advantage (by DRCR (Domestic Resource Cost Ratio) 0,494). Private and social advantages received respectively Rp55.511.036 and Rp114.266.941. The cost of farming consists of tradable inputs and domestic factors. Tradable inputs including fertilizer urea, SP-36, KCL, and pesticides. Domestic factors include labor, capital and land. (2) competitiveness of mangosteen farming in Tanggamus sensitive to a decrease in production output of 20% and a decrease in output prices by 30%.
