Abstract
Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Matlaul Anwar Padangcermin tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam tiga kelas. Dengan teknik purposive sampling, dipilih siswa kelas VII A dan VII B sebagai sampel. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran matematika realistik tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of the realistic mathematics education towards student’s mathematical problem solving skill. The population of this research was all students of grade 7thof MTs Matlaul Anwar Padangcermin in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into three classes. By purposive sampling technique, it was chosen students of VII A and VII B class as samples. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical problem solving skill. Based on the result of hypothesis test, it was gotten the conclusion that the implementation of the realistic mathematics education did not affects student’s mathematical problem solving skill.
