Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran sektor pertanian dalam perekonomian kabupaten lampung tengah. Dalam analisis data dan pembahasan digunakan analisis tipologi klassen, analisis shift share untuk melihat perubahan/pergeseran struktur ekonomi, Location quotient (LQ) untuk melihat sektor basis dan non-basis serta kontribusi sektor pertanian. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis tipologi klassen menunjukkan bahwa sektor pertanian berada pada kuadran II yakni sektor maju tapi tertekan (high contribution but low growth) yang bersamaan dengan sektor industri pengolahan, hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode Location Quotient (LQ) untuk periode 2000-2011 secara rata-rata sektor pertanian masih menjadi sektor yang terbesar 1.17. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan analisis Shiftshare (SSA) sektor pertanian pada periode 2000-2011 sektor pertanian tidak memiliki kinerja yang baik, hal ini dikarenakan sektor pertanian memiliki daya saing yang tinggi tetapi tingkat pertumbuhan lambat. Tingkat spesialiasi sektor di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah untuk periode 2000-2011 secara rata-rata sebesar 0.11, memperlihatkan bahwa konsentrasi sektor-sektor tersebar secara merata, dan sektor pertanian memiliki prilaku kegiatan sektor terbesar yaitu 7.18. Sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah masih menjadi basis atau unggulan dalam perekonomian Lampung Tengah, hal ini dikarenakan Lampung Tengah merupakan salah satu lumbung padi di Provinsi Lampung, yang mampu menyumbang seperlima total produksi padi di Provinsi Lampung, Komoditas Jagung Lampung Tengah merupakan sentra jagung di Provinsi Lampung setelah Lampung Selatan, produksi ubi kayu di Lampung Tengah juga menyuplai sepertiga dari total produksi ubi kayu Lampung. Kondisi tanaman pangan lainnya juga memiliki arti strategis bagi produksi tanaman pangan di Lampung, tahun 2011 sumbangan produksi kedelai kacang tanah, kacang hijau dan ubi jalar berkisar antara 18 hingga 24 persen. This study aims to determine the role of agriculture in the economy of central Lampung regency. The level of sector specialization in Central Lampung District for the period 2000-2011 on average of 0:11, showing that the concentration of sectors is evenly distributed, and the agricultural sector had the largest sector activity behavior is 7:18. The agricultural sector in Central Lampung regency still the basis or seed in the economy of Central Lampung, Central Lampung because it is one of the granary in Lampung Province, which is able to contribute a fifth of the total rice production in the province of Lampung, Central Lampung Commodities Corn is the center of the corn in the province Lampung after South Lampung, the production of cassava in Central Lampung also supply one-third of the total production of cassava Lampung. Condition of other crops also have strategic significance for the production of food crops in Lampung, in 2011 the contribution of soybean production of peanuts, green beans and sweet potatoes ranged from 18 to 24 percent.
