Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan antara financial deepening dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) dengan variabel rasio jumlah uang beredar secara luas terhadap GDP (M2/GDP), rasio kredit untuk sektor swasta terhadap GDP (RKS/GDP), nilai kapitalisasi pasar (KP), suku bunga riil (SBR) dan penanaman modal asing (PMA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya hubungan positif signifikan antara M2/GDP dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hubungan negatif signifikan RKS/GDP dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hubungan negatif signifikan SBR dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hubungan positif signifikan PMA dengan dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Kata kunci : Financial Deepening, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, M2/GDP, RKS/GDP, KP, SBR, PMA, Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) This research aims to find out relationship between financial deepening and economic growth in Indonesia. The research uses the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) with a variable ratio of the money supply broadly to GDP (M2/GDP), the ratio of credit to the private sector to GDP (RKS/GDP), the value of market capitalization (KP), real interest rates (SBR) and foreign direct investment (FDI). These results show there is a significant positive relationship between M2/GDP and economic growth. Significant negative relationship RKS/GDP and economic growth. SBR significant negative relationship with economic growth. PMA significant positive relationship with economic growth.
