Abstract

This research aims to make mathematical models moss growth in reservoir 1, 2 and 3 with exponential models. This research start is prepare bucket 3 piecesas reservoir. Then every reservoir treated different. Reservoir 1 placed exposed to sunlight, reservoir 2 exposed to sunlight but covered up. While reservoir 3 placed underground. Then observed mpss growth on each of reservoir every week. After obtained total data moss growth then modeled with exponential models. Based on smallest Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) get it rate moss growth (r) is 0.33024 and exponential models an reservoir 1 that is ( ) = = 5 . ( ). On reservoir 2 not experiencing moss growth but in the long time the water is only muddy, on reservoir 3 too most does not grow and water remains clean. Keywords: Exponential Model, Growth. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat model matematika pertumbuhan lumut pada reservoir 1, 2 dan 3 menggunakan model eksponensial.Penelitian ini dimulai denganmenyiapkan ember sebanyak 3 buah sebagai reservoir. Kemudian tiap reservoir diberi perlakuan yang berbeda. Reservoir 1 di letakkan di tempat terkena cahaya matahari, reservoir 2 terkena cahaya matahari namun penampang ditutupi, sedangkan reservoir 3 diletakkan di bawah tanah. Lalu diamati pertumbuhan lumut pada masing-masing reservoir setiap pekan nya. Setelah didapatkan data jumlah pertumbuhan lumut lalu dimodelkan dengan model eksponensial. Berdasarkan nilai Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) terkecil didapatlah laju pertumbuhan lumut (r) sebesar 0.33024 dan model eksponensial pada reservoir 1 yaitu ( ) = = 5 . ( ). Pada reservoir 2 tidak mengalami pertumbuhan lumut namun lama kelamaan air hanya keruh, padaReservoir 3 pun lumut tidak tumbuh dan air tetap bersih. Kata Kunci: Model eksponensial, Lumut.
