Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of income disparity on economic growth on the island of Sumatra. This study uses Panel Data regression analysis to identify inequalities and uses a panel data model from 2012 - 2017 with a sample of 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra, to determine the influence of each variable on economic growth. The results of this study indicate that the panel data regression analysis shows that the inequality index variable with the Gini index has no impact on economic growth on the island of Sumatra, the Williamson Index has an influence on economic growth, the entropy theil index has a significant effect on economic growth, PMDN has an influence on economic growth, labor has an influences on economic growth and initial growth variable has a significant effect on economic growth. Keywords: Theil Entropy Index, Gini Index, Williamson Index, Initial Growth, Economic Growth, Domestic Investment, Labor Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh disparitas pendapatan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Pulau Sumatera. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi Data Panel untuk mengidentifikasi ketimpangan dan menggunakan model panel data dari tahun 2012 - 2017 dengan sampel 10 provinsi di Pulau Sumatera, untuk mengetahui pengaruh setiap variabel terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari analisis regresi data panel menunjukkan bahwa variabel indeks ketimpangan dengan Indeks gini tidak berpengaruh terhadap Pertumbuhan ekonomi di Pulau Sumatera, Indeks Williamson berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, indeks entropy theil berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, PMDN berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, tenaga kerja berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan variabel initial growth berpengarh siginfikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.
