Water distribution networks represent one of the largest infrastructure assets of an industrial society. In water distribution, there are important parts that support operations, i.e. scheduling and pumping costs. However, to minimize the pumping cost requires optimal scheduling. This research examines the problem of pump scheduling which minimizes energy costs by using a combination of the grid search and the Hooke-Jeeves search method. The schedule is arranged using a grid step size of 3 and 4 hours. The results show that using the 3 hours grid provides a more optimal schedule with energy costs of $ 234.69. Keywords : pump, scheduling, grid search algorithm, Hooke–Jeeves pattern search algorithm, EPANET Jaringan distribusi air merupakan salah satu aset infrastruktur terbesar dari masyarakat industri. Dalam pendistribusian air terdapat bagian penting yang mendukung operasional, yaitu penjadwalan dan biaya pompa. Namun untuk meminimalkan biaya penggunaan pompa dibutuhkan penjadwalan yang optimal. Pada penelitian ini dikaji masalah penjadwalan pompa yang meminimumkan biaya energi dengan menggunakan kombinasi dari algoritma grid search dan Hooke-Jeeves patern search. Jadwal yang disusun menggunakan ukuran langkah grid sejauh 3 dan 4 jam. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan grid sejauh 3 jam memberikan jadwal yang lebih optimal dengan biaya energi $234.69.
