Abstract

This thesis presents a result of research on the use of two interpolation methods, namely Natural Cubic Spline and Cubic Spline, and their use in determining Tapis Lampung yarn requirements. Research is done using a literature study approach sourced from official books and journals. The results of the research conducted conclude that the Cubic Spline Interpolation method is more efficient than Natural Cubic Spline Interpolation because it spends a smaller number of threads in making the Tapis Lampung pattern Keywords: interpolation, cubic spline, natural cubic spline. Skripsi ini menyajikan sebuah hasil penelitian tentang penggunaan dua metode interpolasi, yaitu Natural Kubik Spline dan Kubik Spline, serta pemakaiannya pada penentuan kebutuhan benang Tapis Lampung. Penelitian yang di lakukan ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur yang bersumber dari buku dan jurnal resmi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa metode Interpolasi Kubik Spline lebih efisien digunakan karena menghabiskan jumlah benang yang lebih sedikit dalam membuat pola Tapis Lampung Kata kunci : interpolasi, kubik spline, natural kubik spline.
