Jumlah gugatan perceraian di Bandarlampung kian meningkat tiap tahunnya, hal tersebut menandakan bahwa semakin banyak anak-anak yang menjadi anak broken home. Setelah melihat orangtuanya bercerai ataupun tidak harmonis anak-anak pasti memiliki pemikirannya tersendiri mengenai pernikahan dibandingkan dengan anak yang memiliki keluarga harmonis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi anak broken home terhadap pernikahan melalui proses persepsi yang terjadi dalam lima tahapan yaitu, stimulation, organization, intrepetation-evaluation, memory dan recall. Tipe penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode pengambilan data melalui indepth interview terhadap tujuh anak broken home sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pada tahap stimulation informan mendapatkan informasi melalui indranya seperti melihat atau mendengar mengenai kerenggangan kedua orang tuanya. Pada tahap organization ini informan mengolah informasi yang diterima mengenai perpisahan keluarganya dengan tetap berusaha menjadi pribadi yang positif. Pada tahap intrepetation- evalation informan tidak merasakan hal-hal negatif mengenai streotype anak broken home. Pada tahap memory ini informan berpikir untuk sangat berhati-hati dalam memilih pasangan hingga ada perasaan takut untuk menikah, hal tersebut diakibatkan karena melihat keadaan kedua orang tuanya. Enam dari tujuh informan tetap ingin menikah, sedangkan satu informan tidak ingin menikah, bukan karena melihat kedua orang tuanya bercerai, tetapi memang itu pilihan hidupnya. Tahap recall, informan memiliki pandangan yang positif untuk pernikahan meskipun kedua orang tuanya bercerai. Kata kunci: persepsi, broken home, pernikahan The number of divorce claims in Bandarlampung is increasing every year, this indicates that more children who become a broken home child. After seeing his parents divorced or not harmonious, the children must have their own opinion about marriage compared to children who have a harmonious family. This study aims to know about how broken home children perceptions toward marriage through a perception process that occurs in five stages, that is, stimulation, organization, intrepetation-evaluation, memory and recall. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection methods through in-depth interviews with seven broken home children as informants. The results of this study indicate that during the stimulation stage the informant gets information through his senses such as seeing or hearing about the estrangement of his parents. In this stage of the organization the informant processes the information that received regarding the separation of his family while still trying to be a positive person. At the intrepetation-evaluation stage, the informant did not feel any negativity about broken home stereotype. In this stage of memory, the informant very careful at choosing a partner until there was a feeling of fear of marriage, this was caused by seeing the situation of his parents. Six of the seven informants still wanted to get married, while one informant did not want to get married, not because his parents are divorced, but it was indeed his life choices. In the recall stage, the informant has a positive view of marriage even though both parents divorced. Keywords: perception, broken home, marriage
