Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penempatan rohaniwan di wilayah konflik bersenjata internasional memiliki peran penting karena rohaniwan merupakan petugas yang memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mengajarkan dan membimbing umatnya dalam beribadah yang merupakan kebutuhan mendasar dari setiap manusia. Rohaniwan yang ditempatkan di wilayah konflik bersenjata internasional, meskipun berstatus sebagai non- kombatan terancam berbagai macam bahaya, oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya perlindungan terhadap rohaniwan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perlindungan rohaniwan dalam konflik bersenjata internasional berdasarkan Konvensi Jenewa 1949. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis-normatif untuk menganalisis secara kualitatif Konvensi Jenewa 1949 tentang perlindungan rohaniwan dalam konflik bersenjata internasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan rohaniwan dalam konflik bersenjata internasional diatur dalam Konvensi Jenewa 1949, di antaranya, yaitu perlindungan hak ekonomi dan perlindungan lambang identitas. Perlindungan tersebut dapat berakhir apabila rohaniwan tidak melaksanakan kewajibannya sebagaimana yang telah diatur dalam Konvensi Jenewa 1949. _____ Kata kunci: rohaniwan, konflik bersenjata internasional, konvensi jenewa 1949 Placement of chaplain in the area of international armed conflict has an important role because chaplain are officers who have the responsibility to teach and guide their people in worship which is a basic need of every human being. Chaplain who are placed in the area of international armed conflict, even though their status as non-combatants are threatened by a variety of dangers, therefore protection is needed for chaplain. This study aims to analyze the protection of chaplain in international armed conflicts based on the Geneva Conventions of 1949. This study uses a juridical-normative method to qualitatively analyze the Geneva Conventions of 1949 concerning the protection of chaplain in international armed conflicts. The results show that the protection of chaplain in international armed conflicts is regulated in the Geneva Conventions of 1949, which include the protection of economic rights and the protection of identity symbols. Such protection can end if the chaplain do not carry out their obligations as stipulated in the Geneva Conventions of 1949. _____ Key words: chaplain, international armed conflict, geneva convention of 1949
