Abstract
ABSTRAK BAHASA INDONESIA Teluk Cikunyinyi, Kabupaten Pesawaran, Provinsi Lampung merupakan salah satu perairan potensial yang belum dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan budidaya perikanan khususnya budidaya teripang. Analisis kesesuaian perairan yang tepat merupakan indikator awal keberhasilan usaha budidaya sesuai dengan jenis komoditas dan teknologi budidaya yang akan diterapkan. Ketersediaan informasi mengenai lokasi ideal bagi pengembangan budidaya merupakan salah satu kendala dalam budidaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai kondisi perairan Teluk Cikunyinyi dan menganalisa tingkat kesesuaian kualitas perairan Teluk Cikunyinyi untuk budidaya teripang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober sampai bulan November 2013. Proses analisis sampel air dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kualitas Air, Balai Besar Pengembangan Budidaya Laut Lampung. Pengambilan sampel meliputi parameter fisika, kimia dan biologi air yang diambil dari 5 titik sampling. Penentuan titik sampling dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode matching dan scoring. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa perairan Teluk Cikunyinyi termasuk dalam kriteria tidak sesuai yaitu daerah yang mempunyai pembatas permanen, sehingga mencegah segala kemungkinan perlakuan pada daerah tersebut Kata Kunci: Analisis kesesuian, Teluk Cikunyinyi, Teripang ABSTRAK BAHASA INGGRIS SUITABILITY LEVEL WATERS OF CIKUNYINYI BAY FOR AQUACULTURE DEVELOPMENT OF SEA CUCUMBER Cikunyinyi Bay, Pesawaran District, Lampung Province is one of the untapped potential waters for aquaculture activities, especially the cultivation of cucumbers. Analysis of the suitability of the water right is an early indicator of success cultivation according to the type of commodity and aquaculture technologies that will be applied. Availability of information about the location is ideal for the cultivation of an obstacle in cultivation. The purpose of this study was to describe the condition of the waters of Cikunyinyi Bay and analyzing the quality of the waters of Cikunyinyi Bay suitability for cultivation of cucumbers. The research was conducted in October and November 2013, the water sample analysis process carried out in the Water Quality Laboratory, Center for Mariculture Development Lampung. Sample parameters include physics, chemistry and biology of water taken from five sample points. Determination of sampling points is done by using purposive sample method. Data analysis in this study using matching and scoring method. The research concludes that the waters of Cikunyinyi Bay included in the criteria does not match the area that has a permanent barrier, thus preventing any possibility of treatment in the area Keywords: Analysis of suitability, Cikunyinyi Bay, Sea Cucumber
