Perception is a process that forms a person to be able to receive and analyze information with something around and the environment (Mulyana, 2010). Television films are feature films funded by television stations or television networks that were intended to appear on television not cinema or the big screen from the start. Shows from television films one of which is religious FTV. The most interesting religious FTV is Film Television (FTV) Azab Indosiar. Religious shows targeting housewives can cause their own perceptions caused by shows related to everyday events in the world and the concept of Azab in Islam on FTV Azosi Indosiar. This research uses qualitative research methods and uses the theory of SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response) which assumes that verbal words, nonverbal cues, pictures, and certain actions will stimulate others to respond in certain ways that consists of 2 aspects namely cognitive aspects and affective aspects. The results of this study indicate that the perception of the majlis taklim mothers on the concept of doom on the Indosiar Azab program is considered to have a positive impact because it conveys the moral message of daily life related to Islamic religious values regarding the Penalty. This is known on the basis of combining S.O.R theory with two aspects of forming perceptions, namely cognitive aspects and affective aspects. Persepsi merupakan sebuah proses yang membentuk seseorang untuk mampu menerima dan menganalisis informasi dengan sesuatu yang berada disekeliling dan lingkungan (Mulyana, 2010). Film televisi adalah film feature yang didanai oleh stasiun televisi atau jaringan televisi yang sejak awal dimaksudkan untuk tayang di televisi bukan bioskop atau layar lebar. Tayangan dari film televisi salah satunya adalah FTV religi. FTV religi yang paling banyak menarik perhatian adalah Film Televisi (FTV) Azab Indosiar. Tayangan religi yang menyasar para ibu-ibu rumah tangga dapat menimbulkan persepi tersendiri bagi mereka yang disebabkan oleh tayangan yang berkaitan dengan kejadian sehari-hari di dunia dan konsep Azab dalam Islam pada tayangan FTV Azab Indosiar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan teori S.O.R (Stimulus-Organism-Response) yang mengasumsikan bahwa kata-kata verbal, isyarat-isyarat nonverbal, gambar-gambar, dan tindakan-tindakan tertentu akan merangsang orang lain untuk memberikan respon dengan cara tertentu yang terdiri dari 2 aspek yaitu aspek kognitif dan aspek afektif. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa persepsi ibu-ibu majelis taklim tentang konsep azab pada tayangan Azab Indosiar dinilai memberikan dampak positif karena menyampaikan pesan moral kehidupan sehari-hari yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai agama Islam mengenai Azab. Hal tersebut diketahui atas dasar penggabungan teori S.O.R dengan dua aspek pembentuk persepsi yaitu aspek kognitif dan aspek afektif. Kata Kunci : Persepsi, film televisi, teori S.O.R, aspek kognitif, aspek afektif.
