Abstract

Salah satu upaya Pemerintah Indonesia untuk menyelamatkan badak dari kepunahan adalah dengan mengembangkan Javan Rhino Study and Conservation Area (JRSCA) di Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon. Salah satu aspek yang perlu dipertimbangkan untuk memastikan kelangsungan proyek adalah Studi ekonomi proyek. Kelayakan ekonomi dari investasi proyek dinilai melalui beberapa parameter yaitu Payback Period (PP), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV) dan Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Studi ini dilakukan dalam 3 skenario tingkat iflasi yaitu 5%, 6% dan 10%. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa investasi yang paling menguntungkan adalah skenario dengan tingkat inflasi terbaik, dua skenario lainnya tidak layak. Jadi, proyek ini akan berlanjut jika tingkat inflasi tidak akan melebihi 5%. Kata kunci: Studi kelayakan, Ekonomi, Ekowisata, Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon One of the Indonesian Government efforts to save rhinos from extinction is by develop as the Javan Rhino Study and Conservation Area (JRSCA) in Ujung Kulon National Park. One aspect that need to consider to ensure the viability of the project is to study the economics of the project. The viability of economics of the project investment was assesed througt several parameters namely Payback Period (PP), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The Study was carried out in 3 scenarios of inflation rate of 5%, 6% and 10%. The Reasult show that the most profitable investment was the scenario with the best inflation rate, the other two scenarios not feasible. In summary the project will sustain if the inflation rate will not exceed 5%. Keyword: Feasibility Study, Economic, Ecotourism, Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon
