Abstrak

ABSTRAK Kasus penyakit DBD di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya. DBD adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan virus dengue dan ditularkan oleh nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Pencegahan DBD dilakukan dengan pengendalian lingkungan dan kimiawi yang jika dilakukan terus-menerus dapat menyebabkan resisten. Bahaya ini dapat diminimalisir dengan menggunakan larvasida alami yaitu daun Lidah buaya (Aloe vera). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektifitas Lc50 dan Lt50 ekstrak daun Lidah buaya (Aloe vera). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap. Perlakuan dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok uji yaitu 0% (kontrol negatif), 0,25%, 0,5%, 0,75%, 1%, dan abate 1% (kontrol positif). Penelitian menggunakan sampel 480 larva dan dibagi menjadi 20 larva untuk masing-masing kelompok dalam 200ml larutan dengan berbagai konsentrasi, dan dilakukan 4 kali pengulangan. Uji yang digunakan adalah one-way anova (p<0,05) dan Post-hoc Bonferroni (p<0,05) serta uji probit untuk menghitung LC50 dan LT50. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata jumlah larva yang mati sebesar 31,25% pada konsentrasi 0,25%; 41,25% pada konsentrasi 0,5%; 80% pada konsentrasi 0,75%; dan 98,75% pada konsentrasi 1%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut konsentrasi yang paling efektif yaitu konsentrasi 1%. Nilai LC50 adalah 2,041% di menit ke-20; 1,900% di menit ke-40; 1,685% di menit ke-60; 1,135% di menit ke-120; 0,720% di menit ke-240; 0,400% di menit ke-480; 0,245% di menit ke-1440; dan 0,131% di menit ke-2880. Nilai LT50 adalah 730,421 menit pada konsentrasi 0,75% dan 178,647 pada konsentrasi 1%. Dengue is an infectious disease caused by dengue virus and transmitted by Aedes aegypti. Dengue prevention is done by controlling the chemical environment and if done continuously can cause resistance. This danger can be minimized by using natural larvacide the leaf Aloe vera (Aloe vera). This study to determine the effectiveness of the LC50 and LT50 leaf extract Aloe vera (Aloe vera). The study design used was experimental, using completely randomized design. Treatment trials were divided into 6 groups, namely 0% (negative control), 0.25%, 0.5%, 0.75%, 1%, and abate 1% (positive control). Research using samples of 480 larvae and divided into 20 larvae for each group in a 200ml solution with varying concentrations, and performed 4 times repetition.
