Abstract

Lettuce is one of the vegetables that are widely consumed and used as food decorators. Red lettuce (Lactuca sativa L var Red rapids.) Is a type of Leaf lettuce. This type of lettuce has leaves that are red, wide, thin and clustered and appear curly. The plant used is red lettuce (Lactuca sativa L var Red rapids) because its growth is faster, maintenance is simpler, plants are easily measured, the selling value is still relatively high. This study aims to determine the effect of Organonitrofos fertilizer and irrigation water regulation on the growth and development of red lettuce plants. The method used is Factorial Completely Randomized Design. The results of this study indicate that the interaction between organic fertilizer or compost and irrigation water application is significant (level 1% and 5%) on plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, canopy area, top stover, dry weight, root length, water productivity, productivity compost. The combination of 10% fertilizer with 100% irrigation water (D1I3) consists of the best choice recipients with 206.90 compost productivity and 10.90 water productivity. Keywords: Fertilizers, Irrigation Water, Lettuce, Growth Selada merupakan salah satu sayuran yang banyak di konsumsi dan digunakan sebagai penghias makanan. Selada merah (Lactuca sativa L var Red rapids.) adalah jenis Leaf lettuce. Jenis selada ini memiliki daun yang berwarna merah, lebar, tipis serta bergerombol dan tampak keriting. Tanaman yang dipakai adalah selada merah (Lactuca sativa L var Red rapids) karena pertumbuhannya lebih cepat, perawatan lebih sederhana, tanaman mudah diukur, nilai jualnya masih tergolong tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk Organonitrofos dan pengaturan air irigasi terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman selada merah. Metode yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa interasi antara pupuk organik atau kompos dan aplikasi air irigasi signifikan (taraf 1% dan 5%) pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, luas kanopi,brangkasan atas,berat kering, panjang akar, produktivitas air, produktivitas kompos.Kombinasi 10% pupuk dengan air irigasi 100% (D1I3) terdiri dari penerima pilihan yang terbaik dengan produktivitas kompos 206,90 dan produktivitas air 10,90.
