The development of information technology has progressed very rapidly along with the advancement in hardware technology that follows the current trends. One of the uses of technology that can be used in the world of lectures, such as the University of Lampung (UNILA), is to create applications that can help students use time effectively. At present UNILA is doing a lot of building infrastructure, one of them is in the field of transportation, namely the UNILA Bus. A bus is a large public transportation motor vehicle, wheeled four or more, that can carry a lot of passengers. Global Position System (GPS) is a navigation system using satellite technology that can receive signals from satellites. Technology can help by using GPS and accessed through devices based on Android. The technology can be used to determine the position, distance and travel time of the bus. Students can estimate the Bus travel time to each faculty. In this research, UNILA Bus tracking application will be built which is used as information for students who want to ride the Bus and see the realtime Bus position using an Android Smartphone. The conclusion obtained from this study is the Unila Bus application can display Bus animations in the UNILA Maps area. With the information of the Bus name, Bus position, Bus speed, and estimated time of arrival of the Bus to the nearest stop, as well as the estimated time of the user walking to the nearest stop. Keywords: Technology, Bus, Global Position System (GPS Perkembangan teknologi informasi mengalami kemajuan yang sangat cepat seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi perangkat keras yang mengikuti trend masa kini. Salah satu kegunaan teknologi yang dapat digunakan di dunia perkuliahan, seperti di Universitas Lampung (UNILA), adalah dengan membuat aplikasi yang dapat membantu mahasiwa dalam menggunakan waktu secara efektif. Saat ini UNILA sedang melakukan banyak membangun infrastruktur, salah satunya dalam bidang transportasi, yaitu Bus UNILA. Bus adalah kendaraan bermotor angkutan umum yang besar, beroda empat atau lebih, yang dapat memuat penumpang yang banyak. Global Position System (GPS) merupakan sistem navigasi dengan menggunakan teknologi satelit yang dapat menerima sinyal dari satelit. Teknologi mampu membantu dengan cara menggunakan GPS dan diakses melalui perangkat yang berbasis Android. Teknologi tesebut dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui posisi, jarak, dan waktu tempuh Bus. Mahasiswa dapat memperkirakan waktu tempuh Bus menuju fakultas masing-masing. Pada penelitian ini akan dibangun aplikasi tracking Bus UNILA yang digunakan sebagai informasi untuk mahasiswa yang ingin menaiki Bus dan melihat posisi realtime Bus menggunakan Smartphone Android. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi Bus Unila dapat menampilkan animasi Bus pada area Maps UNILA. Dengan keterangan nama Bus, posisi Bus, kecepatan Bus, dan estimasi waktu kedatangan Bus ke tempat pemberhentian terdekat, serta estimasi waktu pengguna berjalan menuju pemberhentian terdekat.
