Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
ABSTRAK Pemilu pada dasarnya harus langsung, umum, bebas, rahasia, jujur dan adil agar terwujud pemilu yang demokratis. Namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak praktik kecurangan yang menyebabkan maraknya praktik korupsi, kolusi dan nepotisme. Hal yang dianggap menarik oleh peneliti adalah apa yang telah dilakukan oleh pengawas pemilu, polisi dan kejaksaan dalam menangani pelanggaran yang terjadi dalam pemilu legislatif tahun 2014. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara serta dengan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan proses reduksi dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa panitia pelaksana pemilu telah secara efektif menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya terhadap proses penyelenggaraan Pemilu Legislatif Kota Metro Tahun 2014 sesuai dengan fungsi dan tugas yang telah diberikan. Sehingga membuat proses pelaksanaan pemilu legislatif di Kota Metro berjalan dengan baik karena fungsi pengawasan dari Panitia Pengawas Pemilu telah berjalan sesuai dengan ketentuan undang-undang yang berlaku. Kata kunci : Efektifitas, Panwaslu dan Pemilu ABSTRAK Basically general election must be directly, general, free, secret, honest and fair to make democration in general election but in fact so many dishonest which it can causes corruption, collusion, nepotism, those the interesting part for the researcher for was general election supervisor do, police and direction in solving the collision that happened in legislative general election 2014. Methode of this research using qualitative descriptive. Technique collective data in this research are doing with the interview technique, observation technique and documentation. The data are getting will be analysis with reduction process and interpretation. The result of this research show that committee of general elections already effectivedo their assignment and the function toward process of organizer general legislative at metro city at 2014 appropriate with function and assigment who had been giving. So it can make the implementation of legislative organizer general at metro city has done with well becaude function of committee of general elections appropriate with law are behave.
