Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kecemasan yang dialami siswa dalam menghadapi penilaian akhir tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self efficacy dengan kecemasan dalam menghadapi penilaian akhir tahun pada masa pandemi covid-19 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Natar tahun ajaran 2020/2021 pada semester genap. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasi, serta teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self efficacy dan skala kecemasan. Subjek pada penelitian ini 125 siswa dari kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Natar pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil uji normalitas diperoleh nilai sebesar 0.200 > 0.05, maka dapat dikatakan nilai residual dari dua variabel berdistribusi normal, kemudian pada uji linearitas diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi deviation linearity 0.536 > 0.05, sehingga dapat dikatakan terdapat hubungan yang linear antar variabel. Pada uji hipotesis didapatkan nilai Sig (2-tailed) antara self efficacy dengan kecemasan yaitu sebesar 0.002 < 0.05 sehingga terdapat korelasi yang signifikan, dan diketahui nilai r hitung sebesar -0.279 > r tabel 0.176 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self efficacy dengan kecemasan dalam menghadapi penilaian akhir tahun pada semester genap, serta menunjukkan hubungan negatif antara self efficacy dengan kecemasan, yang artinya semakin tinggi self efficacy maka semakin rendah kecemasan, sedangkan semakin rendah self efficacy, maka semakin tinggi kecemasan. The issue in this study is the anxiousness that students feel as they approach the end of year assessment. This study intends to examine the association between self efficacy and anxiety in dealing with year end examinations for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Natar in even semesters during the Covid-19 epidemic in the 2020/2021 academic year. This study uses data gathering approaches such as a self efficacy scale and an anxiety scale, as well as quantitative research with correlation types. In this study, 125 students from class VIII at SMP Negeri 3 Natar in the 2020/2021 academic year were used as subjects. The results of this study show that the normality test yielded a value of 0.200 > 0.05, indicating that the residual values of the two variables are normally distributed. Additionally, the linearity test yielded a significance value of 0.536 > 0.05, indicating that there is a linear relationship between variables. In hypothesis testing, the Sig (2-tailed) value between self-efficacy and anxiety is 0.002 0.05, indicating a significant correlation, and it is known that the calculated r value is -0.279 > r table 0.176, implying that there is a significant relationship between self efficacy and anxiety in the face of year end assessments in the even semester, and that there is a negative relationship between self efficacy and anxiety, that is, the higher one's self efficacy, the lower one's anxiety, and the lower one's self efficacy, the higher one's anxiety.
