Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Meningkatnya jumlah perokok aktif pada remaja dari tahun 2007 hingga 2017 menjadi sorotan penting dalam penanggulangan kesehatan dasar. Salah satu faktor penyebab meningkatnya jumlah perokok pada remaja adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang bahaya merokok. Pengetahuan ini dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik individu berupa usia dan jenis kelamin. Di SMKN 2 Bandar Lampung tingkat remaja yang merokok pada rentang usia 14-17 tahun sangat tinggi baik laki-laki maupun perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Analitik deskriptif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Mei-Juni 2017, bertempat di SMKN 2 Bandar Lampung. Sampel yang berhasil didapatkan adalah 21 orang. Data diperoleh dari instrumen tes pengetahuan. Hasil analisis bivariat antara usia dan tingkat pengetahuan siswa didapatkan nilai p value sebesar 0,642>0,05 yang berarti tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia dengan tingkat pengetahuan siswa. Hasil analisis bivariat antara jenis kelamin dan tingkat pengetahuan siswa didapatkan nilai p value sebesar 0,659>0,05 yang berarti tidak terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin dengan tingkat pengetahuan siswa. Tidak terdapat hubungan karakteristik individu (usia dan jenis kelamin) dengan tingkat pengetahuan siswa usia 14-17 tahun tentang bahaya merokok di SMKN 2 Bandar Lampung. Kata kunci: Usia, jenis kelamin, pengetahuan, dan bahaya merokok. The increasing number of active smokers in adolescents from 2007 to 2017 has become an important spotlight in basic health care. One of the factors causing the increase in the number of smokers in adolescents is the lack of knowledge about the dangers of smoking. This knowledge is influenced by individual characteristics in the form of age and sex. At SMKN 2 Bandar Lampung, the level of teenagers who smoke in the age range of 14-17 years is very high both male and female. This research uses analytical descriptive method with cross sectional design. The sampling technique is total sampling. The study was conducted in May-June 2017, located at SMKN 2 Bandar Lampung. The samples obtained were 21 people. Data obtained from knowledge test instruments. The results of the bivariate analysis between age and level of knowledge of students obtained p value of 0.642> 0.05, which means there is no relationship between age and level of knowledge of students. The results of bivariate analysis between gender and level of knowledge of students obtained p value of 0.659> 0.05, which means there is no relationship between sexes with the level of knowledge of students. There is no correlation between individual characteristics (age and sex) with the level of knowledge of students aged 14-17 years about the dangers of smoking at SMKN 2 Bandar Lampung.
