Abstract
Rumput laut (Eucheuma sp. ) merupakan salah satu komoditi laut yang sangat populer dalam perdagangan dunia. Teluk Cikunyinyi adalah salah satu wilayah di Teluk Lampung yang memiliki potensi untuk menunjang aktifitas perikanan. Pemilihan lokasi yang tepat merupakan indikator keberhasilan suatu usaha budidaya, Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan suatu analisis tentang kesesuaian perairan untuk keberlangsungan suatu usaha budidaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kesesuaian perairan Teluk Cikunyinyi untuk budidaya rumput laut berdasarkan parameter fisika-kimia dan biologi air laut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-November 2013. Analisis sampel air dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kualitas Air, Balai Besar Pengembangan Budidaya Laut, Lampung. Titik koordinat penelitian diambil sebanyak 6 titik. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif eksploratif. Sedangkan metode penentuan lokasi titik sampling menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode matching dan skoring. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan Teluk Cikunyinyi kurang cocok untuk budidaya rumput laut, hal ini dikarenakan memiliki nilai kesesuaian: sesuai marginal ( 4 titik sampling) dan tidak sesuai (2 titik sampling). abstrak bahasa inggris Seaweed (Eucheuma sp.)the is one of marine popular commodities in world trade. Cikunyinyi bay the is one of areas in Lampung Bay which has a relatively high potential for fisheries activities. The selection of location is an indicator of the success farming, Therefore it is necessary to do an analysis water suitability for marine culture. The purpose of this study is to analyze Cikunyinyi Bay suitability seaweed culture by water quality parameters. This study was conducted in October-November 2013. Analysis of water samples was conducted in the Laboratory of Water Quality, Center of Mariculture Development, Lampung. There are six coordinates points were taken. The method in this research is descriptive exploratory method. While the method of determining the location of the sampling point using purposive sampling method. Analysis of the data in this study using the matching and scoring method. From the research that has been conducted Cikunyinyi Bay less suitable for culture of seaweed, this is because the value suitability: marginally suitable (4 sampling points) and not suitable (2 sampling points).
