Latar Belakang: Angka Kematian Neonatus di dunia masih cukup tinggi mencapai 2,7 juta jiwa di tahun 2015. Hampir 2/3 kematian terjadi pada periode neonatal dini dan memiliki berat badan lahir <2500 gram. Bayi baru lahir memiliki kecenderungan untuk sulit menyesuaikan dengan suhu dari lingkungan luar. Inkubator merupakan alat yang seringkali digunakan oleh neonatus untuk`membantu memberikan suhu yang sesuai, namun karena kondisi inkubator yang biasanya hangat dan lembap dapat juga menjadi tempat yang ideal bagi bakteri untuk berkolonisasi. Jendela inkubator dapat menjadi tempat kolonisasi bakteri dikarenakan area ini sering kontak dengan tenaga kesehatan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuijenis bakteri yang terdapat pada jendela inkubator pada ruang perinatologi. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif observasional laboratorik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari ruang perinatologi RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung. Jumlah sampel penelitian didapatkan dengan metode total sampling. Hasil swab dari jendela inkubator ditanam dalam media Nutrient Agar, dilakukan pewarnaan gram dan kemudian dilakukan uji biokimia. Hasil: Hasil dari pemeriksaan 22 swab yang diambil dari jendela inkubator ruang perinatologi RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung didapatkan ada 5 jenis bakteri yakni Staphylococcus aureus, Shigella sp, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Klebsiella sp, danPseudomonas sp. Simpulan:. Didapatkan adanya 5 jenis bakteri pada jendela inkubator ruang pada ruang perinatologi di RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Kata kunci: Inkubator, bakteri, neonatus Background : Neonatal mortality rates in the world are still quite high, reaching 2.7 million in 2015. Nearly 2/3 of deaths occur in the early neonatal period and have a birth weight <2500 grams. Newborns have a tendency to be difficult to adjust to the temperature of the outside environment. The incubator is a device that is often used by neonates to help provide the appropriate temperature, but because the conditions of the incubator are usually warm and humid it can also be an ideal place for bacteria to colonize. The incubator window can be a place for bacterial colonization because this area often contacts health workers. Objective: This study aims to determine the type of bacteria found in the incubator window in the perinatology room. Method : This study was a descriptive observational laboratory study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was obtained from the Perinatology roomRSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung. The number of research samples obtained by the total sampling method. The results of the swab from the incubator window were planted in Nutrient Agar media, then gram staining and biochemical tests Results : The results of the 22 swab examinations taken from the perinatology room incubator window at Dr. RSUD H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung, there were 5 types of bacteria, namely Staphylococcus aureus, Shigella sp, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Klebsiella sp, and Pseudomonas sp. Conclusions : Bacteria were found in the incubator window in the Perinatology room RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung Keywords : Incubator, bacteria, neonatal
