Abstract
The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of mathematics. This study aims to determine the significant and positive relationship between learning motivation and the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Harapan. This type of research is ex-postfacto correlation. The population is 45 students and the research sample is 45 students. Data collection techniques were carried out namely observation, questionnaires (questionnaires), and study documentation. The instrument for data colletion is a questionnaire with a Likert scale, which was previously tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used is product moment correlation and multiple correlation. Based on the analysis conducted by the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant and positive relationship between motivation to learn and mathematics learning outcomes indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0,581 at the moderate level. Keywords: learning outcomes, relationships, mathematics, motivation, students. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Harapan. Jenis penelitian yaitu ex-postfacto korelasi. Populasi berjumlah 45 peserta didik dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 45 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, kuesioner (angket), dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa angket dengan skala Likert, yang sebelumnya diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment dan multiple correlation. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar matematika ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,581 berada pada taraf sedang. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, hubungan, matematika, motivasi, peserta didik.
