Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan konsep materi perbandingan dan skala siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-D dan VII-E MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif tentang kesalahan konsep siswa yang diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, tes hasil belajar dan wawancara. Selanjutnya, dilakukan analisis data melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh simpulan bahwa: (1) Siswa yang melakukan kesalahan konsep pada kelas VII-D memenuhi 4 indikator kesalahan konsep, yaitu tidak mampu menyatakan ulang konsep, kesalahan menentukan teorema/rumus untuk menjawab suatu masalah dan penggunaannya, tidak mampu merumuskan konsep dalam berbagai bentuk representasi matematis dengan benar, dan tidak mampu mengaplikasikan konsep atau algoritma pemecahan masalah. Sedangkan pada kelas VII-E tidak terpenuhi 1 indikator yaitu poin a, tidak mampu menyatakan ulang konsep, (2) Siswa kelas 1 VII-E lebih banyak melakukan kesalahan konsep dibandingkan siswa kelas VII-D, baik dilihat dari jumlah siswa yang melakukan kesalahan konsep maupun presentasenya terhadap keseluruhan siswa di kelas tersebut. Kecuali pada soal nomor 4a jumlah siswa yang mengalami kesalahan konsep sama, tetapi presentasenya berbeda yaitu lebih tinggi presentase kelas VII-E daripada kelas VII-D, dan (3) Kesalahan konsep siswa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya yaitu: karena siswa sendiri yang kurang memahami materi pembelajaran dan tidak fokus dalam membaca soal, konsep awal yang diterimanya salah, dan intuisi yang salah. Kata kunci: Kesalahan Konsep, Perbandingan dan Skala, Pendekatan Saintifik This qualitative research aims to describe the misconceptions of the ratio and scale of students. The subjects of this study were students of class VII-D and VII- E MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2019/2020. This research data is qualitative data about students' misconceptions which are obtained through observation, documentation, learning achievement tests and interviews. Furthermore, data analysis is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: (1) Students who made a misconceptions in class VII-D met 4 indicators of misconceptions, that is unable to restate the concept, errors determining the theorem/formula to answer a problem and its use, unable to formulate a concept in various forms of mathematical representation correctly, and unable to apply the concept or algorithm of problem solving. Whereas in class VII-E one indicator was not fulfilled namely point a, unable to restate the concept, (2) Class VII-E students made more misconceptions than students in class VII-D, both in terms of the number of students who made misconceptions or his percentage to all students in the class. Except for question number 4a, the number of students that have misconceptions is same, but the percentage is different, that is the percentage of class VII-E is higher than class VII-D, and (3) Student misconceptions are influenced by several factors including: because students themselves lack understanding of learning material and they are not focused in reading a problem, the initial concept it received was wrong, and the intuition was wrong.
