Abstract

The problem of this research is the children average ability of heading a ball in the SBB Bima Putra, East Lampung which is relatively not reaching the maximum level. The aim of this study was to find out the effect of children's ability of heading a ball by providing a treatment that is a variation exercise model. The subject of this study was 30 children of SBB Bima Putra, East Lampung. It indicates that variation exercise model gives an influence to improve children’s ability of heading a ball in football (tvalue = 9,701 > ttable = 2, 045). The result showed that the variation exercise model has a significant influence toward children’s heading a ball ability in SBB Bima Putra, East Lampung. Keywords: football, heading, variation exercise models Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan rata-rata menyundul bola (heading) pada SSB Bima Putra Lampung Timur relatif belum mencapai tingkat maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dengan memberikan suatu perlakuan yaitu model latihan variasi. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model latihan variasi memberikan pengaruh lebih baik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyundul bola dalam sepakbola (t hitung = 9,701 > t tabel = 2,045). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model latihan variasi terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam kemampuan menyundul bola pada anak di SSB Bima Putra Lampung Timur.
