ABSTRAK PENGARUH KEPUASAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KEPALA KEBUN BAGIAN PLANTATION GROUP II DI PT GREAT GIANT PINEAPPLE Oleh Neno Risky Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bagian Plantation Grup II di PT Great Giant Pineapple.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: karakteristik individu, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja kepala kebun, pengaruh karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja, dan pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus, dengan jumlah responden 36 orang kepala kebun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada Februari - Mei 2014 dan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah path analysis (analisis jalur). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: seluruh responden berada pada kelompok umur produktif, 86,11 persen responden berpendidikan SMA, 38,98 persen responden memiliki masa kerja antara 16-19 tahun, 61,22 persen responden memiliki jumlah tanggungan keluarga sebanyak 3 orang. Kepuasan kerja responden berada pada kategori tinggi. Kinerja responden termasuk dalam kriteria baik. Karakteristik individu tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja. Kata kunci: kepala kebun, karakteristik individu, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja ABSTRACT INFLUENCE OF JOB SATISFACTION ON PERFOMANCE OF PLANTATION GROUP II FOREMEN OF PT GREAT GIANT PINEAPPLE By Neno Risky This study was conducted in Plantation Group II of PT Great Giant Pineapple. The aims are to determine: individual characteristics, job satisfaction,and performance of the foremen, the influence of the individual characteristics on the performance,and the influence of their job satisfaction on the performance. The study used a census method with the number of 36 foremen. Data were collectedin February - May 2014 and were analyzedbyusing path analysis method. The results showed that: the ages of all respondentswere in productive age group, 86.11 percent of themwere high school level graduates, 38.89 percent of themhad 16-19 years of work experience, 61.22 percentof them had 3 dependents. Job satisfaction of the foreman was in high category and theirwork performance was in a good criteria. The individual characteristics of the foremen do not affect the performance either directly or indirectly through job satisfaction and their job satisfaction had a positive influence on their performance.
