Making Rhodamine B test kit and method validation for chemical analysis of Rhodamine B. The purpose of this research is to make a test kit that is used to test Rhodamine B on food. The method used in this research is to make standard solutions of 2 ppm, 4 ppm, 6 ppm, 8 ppm, and 10 ppm. Validation of the test kit method using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer and the maximum wavelength is 560.8 nm. The linearity test obtained the regression equation y = 0.0241x+0.056 and the r value is 0.9987. In precision test, SD value is 0.016 and % RSD is 0.71%. In LoQ and LoD tests, LoQ values is 1.09 mg/L and LoD values is 3.65 mg/L. Tests on samples of sauce A, sauce B, and sauce C positive Rhodamine B solution with a change in the color of the solution to purple. The results of the positive levels of Rhodamine B obtained in the sample test were sauce B is 13.10 mg/L and sauce C is 21 mg/L. Keywords: Test kit, Rhodamine B, UV-Vis spectrophotometer Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pembuatan tes kit Rhodamin B dan validasi metode untuk analisis kimia Rhodamin B pada makanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini membuat tes kit yang digunakan untuk uji Rhodamin B pada makanan. Metode yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini dengan membuat larutan standar 2 ppm, 4 ppm, 6 ppm, 8 ppm, dan 10 ppm. Validasi metode tes kit menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis dan diperoleh panjang gelombang maksimum 560,8 nm. Uji linieritas diperoleh persamaan regresi y = 0,0241x+0,056 dan nilai r sebesar 0,9987. Pada uji presisi diperoleh nilai SD 0,016 dan % RSD 0,71 %. Pada uji LoQ dan LoD diperoleh nilai LoQ adalah 1,09 mg/L dan LoD adalah 3,65 mg/L. Uji pada sampel saus A, saus B, dan saus C menunjukkan larutan positif Rhodamin B dengan perubahan warna larutan menjadi ungu. Hasil kadar positif Rhodamin B yang diperoleh pada uji sampel saus B adalah 13,10 mg/L dan saus C adalah 21 mg/L. Kata Kunci: Tes kit, Rhodamin B, spektrofotometer UV-Vis
