Abstract
BIODIVERSITAS BURUNG DI DESA KIBANG PACING KECAMATAN MENGGALA TIMUR KABUPATEN TULANG BAWANG PROVINSI LAMPUNG Oleh Ema Triyanah, Sugeng P.Harianto, dan Bainah Sari Dewi ABSTRAK Lahan basah merupakan habitat alami satwa liar salah satunya adalah burung. Upaya perlindungan dan pelestarian burung tidak hanya dapat dilakukan pada kawasan konservasi, namun juga dapat dilakukan di kawasan budidaya. Pentingnya informasi mengenai spesies burung di kawasan budidaya menyebabkan penelitian ini dilakukan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui biodiversitas burung di Desa Kibang Pacing Kecamatan Menggala Timur Kabupaten Tulang Bawang, pada bulan April 2014 dengan metode Point count pada tiga titik di lokasi pengamatan yaitu: perbatasan antara kebun sawit dengan hutan (PC 1), antara kebun sawit dengan lahan basah terbuka (PC 2), dan ditengah kebun sawit (PC 3) dengan 3 kali pengulangan. Hasil dari penelitian biodiversitas burung ditemukan 40 spesies burung dari 21 famili (N=1986) dan diperoleh nilai indeks keanekaragaman pada PC 1; PC 2; PC 3 yaitu (H’=2,148); (H’=2,630); (H’=1,877) dengan 15 spesies dilindungi (PP No.7/1999) (Haliartur indus), (Ichthyophaga malayensis), (Ichthyophaga ichthyaetus), (Haliaeetus leucogaster), (Milvus migrans), (Halcyon smyrnensis), (Halcyon enigma), (Anhinga melanogaster), (Nycticorax nycticorax), (Egretta alba), (Egretta sacra), (Egretta garzetta), (Bubulcus ibis), (Pandion haliaetus), (Threskiornis melanocephalus); 6 spesies masuk kategori Apendiks II CITES (2012) (Haliartur indus), (Ichthyophaga malayensis), (Ichthyophaga ichthyaetus), (Haliaeetus leucogaster), (Milvus migrans), (Pandion haliaetus); dan 2 spesies masuk kategori Hampir Terancam (NT) IUCN (2012) (Ichthyophaga ichthyaetus) dan (Threskiornis melanocephalus). Protection and preservation of birds are not only can be done on conservation areas, but can also in the area of cultivation as the plantations. Important information of bird species in the area of cultivation leads this research was conducted. The research aims to know the biodiversity of birds in Kibang Pacing village Menggala Timur sub-district Tulang Bawang district Lampung, on April 2014 with point count method on three-point on site observations, namely: the border between the palm groves and forest (PC 1), between palm groves and overt wetlands (PC 2), and in the middle of the palm groves (PC 3) with repetition as much as 3 times.
