Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

The present study assessed and compared two different techniques for improving students’ learning motivation and reading achievement. It also investigated the relationship between students’ learning motivation and reading achievement. Integrating SQ3R Technique and Quizizz Application based on Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) was compared to the original SQ3R. Thirty-one students of second grade SMA IT SMART INSANI participated in this study as an experimental and control class. The instruments used in this study were a questionnaire and a reading test. The data of the research were collected through pre-test and post-test. The result showed a significant difference in students' learning motivation between experimental and control classes with a significance level of 0.003 (p<0.05). Meanwhile, for reading achievement, it was found that the significance level was 0.126 (p>0.05), indicating there was no significant difference in students' reading achievement between the experimental class and control class. Furthermore, the coefficient correlation was 0.787. It could be inferred that there was a significant correlation between students’ learning motivation and reading achievement. Based on the result of the study, it could be concluded that the implementation of Integrating SQ3R Technique and Quizizz Application based on Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) was better than the original SQ3R to improve students’ learning motivation and reading achievement. Additionally, the correlation between students’ learning motivation and reading achievement showed that by having high motivation, students were able to get better reading achievement than those who have low motivation.
