Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Media online merupakan salah satu jenis media massa yang populer. Di dalamnya terdapat portal, radio-online, pers online, dan lainnya dengan karakteristik masing- masing. Kekhasan media online terletak pada keharusan memiliki jaringan internet. Untuk meminimalisir kesalahan dalam praktik bermedia online serta meningkatkan profesionalisme wartawan, Dewan Pers sebagai lembaga yang menaungi wartawan dan perusahaan media, berupaya memperbaiki citra jurnalistik dengan mengadakan Uji Kompetensi Wartawan. UKW dalam hal ini berfungsi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan wartawan dalam mengemas produk jurnalistik yang bermutu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari uji kompetensi wartawan terhadap professionalisme wartawan di suatu media online khusus nya lamppost.co. Teori yang di gunakan adalah teori tanggung jawab sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan total responden sebanyak 22 wartawan yang sudah mengikuti UKW yang ditentukan dengan rumus slovin. Berdasarkan hitungan uji T menyatakan variable X berpengaruh sebesar 53,5% terhadap variable Y sedangkan sebesar 46,5% dipengaruhi oleh factor lain yang tidak di teliti oleh peneliti. Hipotesis yang diajukan di terima dengan bukti nilai T hitung =4.801> T tabel =2089. Kata kunci: Uji Kompetensi Wartawan, Portal Berita Online, Professionalisme Wartawan Online media is one of the most popular types of mass media today. In which there are portals, radio-online, online press, and others, each with their own characteristics. The characteristic of online media is in the necessity of having a network. To minimize the mistake in online media practice and improve the professionalism of journalists, The Press Council as an institution that oversees journalists and media companies in Indonesia, seeks to improve the image of journalism, both the media and their journalists. One of them is by holding a Journalist Competency Test (UKW). In this case, UKW functions in improving the ability of journalists to package quality journalistic products. This study aims to determine the effect of the journalist competency test on the professionalism of journalists in an online media, specifically Lampost.co. Researchers determine a theory that is in accordance with the phenomenon namely the Press Social Responsibility Theory and Participant Democratic Media. This study uses a survey method. The sample in this study is at least 22 journalists who have participated in the UKW. Based on calculations using the T test, it can be seen that the X variable has an effect of 53.5% on the Y variable , while the remaining 46.5% is influenced by other factors that are not examined in this study. The hypothesis is accepted proven by T count = = 4,801> T table = 2089. Keywords: Journalist Competency Test (UKW), Online News Portals, Professionalism of Journalists
