Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri, motivasi memasuki dunia kerja, dan soft skill terhadap kesiapan kerja pada siswa kelas XII SMKN 1 Kalianda. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto dan survey. Populasi dalam penelitiaan ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMKN 1 Kalianda. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 82 orang siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel probability sampling dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuesioner. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji t dan F serta diolah dengan program SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh efikasi diri, motivasi memasuki dunia kerja, dan soft skill terhadap kesiapan kerja pada siswa kelas XII SMKN 1 Kalianda dengan kadar determinasi sebesar 0,535 atau 53,5% kesiapan kerja dipengaruhi oleh efikasi diri, motivasi memasuki dunia kerja, dan soft skill, sisanya yaitu sebesar 46,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kata kunci: efikasi diri, motivasi memasuki dunia kerja, soft skill, kesiapan kerja The research aims to determine the influence of self-efficacy, motivation to join workplace, and soft skill on working readiness of students at grade XII in Vocational High School State (SMKN) 1 Kalianda. The population in the research was all students at grade VII in Vocational High School State (SMKN) 1 Kalianda. The sampling technique used probability sampling with type of simple random sampling. The data were collected through questionnaire. The hypotheses were conducted through t test and F test and processed by SPSS program. The analyses showed that there was influence of self-efficacy, motivation to join workplace, and soft skill on working readiness of students at grade XII in Vocational High School State (SMKN) 1 Kalianda with determinant rate of 0,535 or 53,5 percent the working readiness was influenced by self-efficacy, motivation to join workplace, and soft skill. Meanwhile, the rest of 46,7 percent was not examined in the research. Key words: self-efficacy, motivation to join workplace, soft skill, working readiness
