Prior to 2014, Indonesia's rice production could not meet the population's rice needs. To fulfill this, Indonesia imported rice. In order to achieve rice self- sufficiency, the Working Cabinet (2014-2019) launched the Special Effort Program (Upsus) for Rice, Corn, Soybeans (Pajale). One of its goals was to increase rice productivity. Furthermore, the increase in productivity was expected to reduce the standard cost of production and ultimately increased farmers' income. This study aims to find out whether the Upsus Program can increase productivity, reduce the standard cost of production, and increase rice farming income. This study used a survey method. Respondents were selected by simple random sampling method with the number of respondents as many as 30 farmers with 101 observations. The data taken in the study are MH 2014/2015 and MK 2015 for non-UPSUS as well as MH 2017/2018 and MK 2018 for Upsus. The Upsus program was as a treatment variable and planting season and location were as control variables. The results showed that Upsus had a significant effect on increasing productivity (α=10%) with an average increase of 0.15 tons/ha (2.87%), which increased from 5.23 tons/ha to 5.38 tons/ha. . Upsus significantly affected the decrease in the standard cost of production (α=1%) with a decrease of IDR 557/kg (13.87%), which decreased from IDR 4,016/kg to IDR 3,459/kg. Furthermore, Upsus significantly affected the increase in income (α=1%) with an increase of IDR 3.48 million/ha (88.78%), which increased from IDR 3.92 million/ha to IDR 7.40 million/ha. Keywords: Upsus, standard cost of production, income, productivity Sebelum 2014, produksi padi Indonesia belum bisa mencukupi kebutuhan beras penduduk. Untuk memenuhinya, Indonesia mengimpor beras. Agar tercapai swasembada beras, oleh karena itu, Kabinet Kerja (2014-2019) mencanangkan Program Upaya Khusus (Upsus) Padi Jagung Kedelai (Pajale) yang salah satu tujuannya untuk meningkatkan produktivitas padi. Selanjutnya, peningkatan produktivitas diharapkan dapat menurunkan biaya pokok produksi (BPP) dan akhirnya dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk.mengetahui apakah Program Upsus dapat meningkatkan produktivitas, menurunkan BPP, dan meningkatkan pendapatan usahatani padi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Responden dipilih dengan metode simple random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 30 petani dengan 101 observasi. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian yaitu MH 2014/2015 dan MK 2015 untuk non Upsus serta MH 2017/2018 dan MK 2018 untuk Upsus. Program Upsus sebagai variabel perlakuan dan musim tanam dan lokasi sebagai variabel kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Upsus berpengaruh nyata terhadap peningkatan produktivitas (α=10%) dengan rata-rata peningkatannya sebesar 0,15 ton/ha (2,87%), yakni meningkat dari 5,23 ton/ha menjadi 5,38 ton/ha. Upsus berpengaruh nyata terhadap penurunan BPP (α=1%) dengan penurunan sebesar Rp557/kg (13,87%,), yakni menurun dari Rp4.016/kg menjadi Rp3.459/kg. Lebih lanjut, Upsus berpengaruh nyata terhadap peningkatan pendapatan (α=1%) dengan peningkatan sebesar Rp3,48juta/ha (88,78%), yakni meningkat dari Rp3,92juta/ha menjadi Rp7,40juta/ha.
