Abstract
Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbandingan luas 1ha lahan dan luas kolam yang optimal melalui simulasi tanam selama 13 tahun. Parameter yang digunakan dalam simulasi berupa data Perkolasi, Limpasan, Kadar air, tinggi tanaman, kapasitas lapang (FC), titik layu permanen (PWP), koefisien crop (Kc), evapotranspirasi (ETc) yang diperoleh (muamar, 2012). Data klimatologi harian selama 13 tahun (1999-2011) diperoleh dari Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) Provinsi Lampung. Program ditulis menggunakan vissim 4.0 (Visual Simulation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pemanenan air hujan dapat mencukupi kebutuhan air irigasi tanaman jagung. Luas kolam terkecil untuk mencukupi kebutuhan air irigasi terjadi di bulan tanam Februari yakni 570 m2. Sedangkan kolam terluas terjadi di bulan tanam Agustus yakni 1620 m2. Kata kunci: evapotranspirasi, irigasi, jagung, pemanenan air hujan. Abstract Bahasa Inggris A rainwater harvesting system consisted of a planning land area and a rainwater collection pond area. This study aimed to determine the optimum ratio of the planting area to the collection pond area. Research was conducted by running a 13 year simulation with daily time step. A 13 year (1999-2011) daily meteorological data set obtained from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Lampung Province, was used to run the simulation. Programs written using VISSIM 4.0 (Visual Simulation). The results showed that the rainwater harvesting system can suffice the irrigation water for maize. The smallest pond area (570 m2) required if planting was done in February, while the largest pond area (1620 m2) required if planting was done on August.
