ABSTRACT DETERMINING THE GRADE OF ROBUSTA COFFEE USING ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (CASE STUDY ON COFFEE PLANTATION ON THE SLOPE OF MOUNT DEMPO PAGAR ALAM SOUTH SUMATRA) By MERIA NENSI Coffee beans are one of the raw materials as well as a result of planting by farmers which provide its own benefits for the survival of the Indonesian people. Coffee is used as an ingredient in refreshing drinks and in today's life coffee drinks have become a lifestyle for millennial society. The type of coffee that is widely cultivated is the type of robusta coffee beans, because robusta coffee is the most widely produced in Indonesia, reaching 87.1 percent of the total coffee production in Indonesia. One of the largest Robusta coffee producing areas in Indonesia is the Mount Dempo Slope Coffee Plantation, Pagar Alam, South Sumatra. Therefore, in this study using the type of robusta coffee beans, the grade or quality will be determined according to the criteria applied. The aim of this study was to determine the grade of robusta coffee beans at the Slopes Coffee Plantation of Gunung Dempo Pagar Alam, South Sumatra by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. The stages in this research are collecting research data, the next stage is determining criteria and alternatives, making a hierarchical structure, weighting criteria and making pairwise comparison matrices, looking for eigen vector and priority vector values, consistency testing, calculating alternative priority weights, ranking alternative results, and the last is testing the accuracy of the results of manual calculations and Super Decision. The results of this study are expected to provide benefits for viewing the results of coffee bean grade ranking based on the criteria for seed defects, moisture content, land height, dirt level and robusta bean size from 5 lands in the Mount Dempo Pagar Alam Slope Coffee Plantation, South Sumatra by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. Key words: coffee beans, grade, analytical hierarchy process ABSTRAK PENENTUAN GRADE BIJI KOPI ROBUSTA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (STUDI KASUS PADA PERKEBUNAN KOPI LERENG GUNUNG DEMPO PAGAR ALAM SUMATRA SELATAN Oleh MERIA NENSI Biji kopi merupakan salah satu bahan baku sekaligus sebagai hasil dari penanaman oleh petani yang memberikan manfaat tersendiri bagi kelangsungan hidup masyarakat Indonesia. Kopi dijadikan sebagai bahan minuman penyegar dan minuman kopi telah menjadi gaya hidup bagi masyarakat sekarang ini. Adapun jenis kopi yang banyak dibudidayakan yaitu jenis biji kopi robusta, karena Indonesia paling banyak untuk produksi kopi robusta ini mencapai 87,1 persen dari total keseluruhan produksi kopi Indonesia. Salah satu daerah penghasil jenis kopi robusta terbesar Indonesia yaitu Perkebunan Kopi Lereng Gunung Dempo Pagar Alam Sumatra Selatan. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis biji kopi robusta yang akan ditentukan grade atau kualitas sesuai dengan kriteria yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menentukan grade biji kopi robusta pada Perkebunan Kopi Lereng Gunung Dempo Pagar Alam Sumatra Selatan dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengumpulan data penelitian, tahap selanjutnya adalah menentukan kriteria dan alternatif, membuat struktur hierarki, memasukkan bobot kriteria dan membuat matriks perbandingan berpasang, mencari nilai vektor eigen dan vektor prioritas, uji konsistensi, menghitung bobot prioritas alternatif, hasil peringkat alternatif, dan terakhir adalah pengujian akurasi dari hasil perhitungan manual dan implementasi ke dalam Super Decision. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat melihat hasil peringkat grade biji kopi berdasarkan kriteria cacat biji, kadar air, ketinggian lahan, kadar kotoran dan ukuran biji robusta dari 5 lahan yang ada pada Perkebunan Kopi Lereng Gunung Dempo Pagar Alam Sumatra Selatan dengan menerapkan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process.
