Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk LKPD berbasis controversial issues yang layak dan efektivitas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang merujuk pada teori Borg & Gall. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu pendidik dan peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 112 Krui. Sampel penelitian yang ditentukan dengan Teknik purposive sampling adalah 12 peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi keterampilan sosial peserta didik, validasi ahli, angket praktisi serta peserta didik. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis controversial issues layak digunakan serta efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial. LKPD berbasis controversial issues layak digunakan hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh nilai 83,33 dengan kategori “sangat baik”, validasi ahli media memperoleh nilai 83 dengan kategori “sangat baik”, validasi ahli bahasa memperoleh nilai 92,30 dengan kategori “sangat baik” dan validasi pendidik kelas IV memperoleh nilai 92,93 dengan kategori “sangat baik” dan angket ketergunaan oleh pendidik memperoleh skor 81,25 kategori “sangat baik” dan angket keterbacaan oleh peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata persentase skor 84,83% kategori “sangat baik”. LKPD berbasis controversial issues efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial berdasarkan hasil observasi keterampilan sosial dengan output uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0.003<0.05 serta didukung dengan output deskriptif nilai rata-rata keterampilan sosial 22,42 sebelum dan 30,83 sesudah diberikan LKPD berbasis controversial issues. Kata kunci: LKPD, controversial issues, keterampilan sosial.This research and development aims to produce LKPD products based on controversial issues that are appropriate and affective to improve the social skills of fourth grade Elementary School students. The type of research used is research and development which refers to the theory of Borg & Gall. The subjects of this study were educators and fourth grade students of Elementary School 112 Krui. The research sample determined by purposive sampling technique was 12 students. Data were collected through observation of students social skill, expert validation, practitioner and student questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were carried out by qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that the LKPD based on controversial issues was feasible and effective to improve social skills. LKPD based on controversial issues is feasible to use, this is evidenced by the validation results of meterial experts getting a score of 83,33 in thr ”very good” category, media expert validation getting a score of 83 in the “very good” category, validation of linguists getting a score of 92,30 with the category “very good” and the validation of the fourth grade educators scored 92,93 in the “very good” category and the usability questionnaire by the educators obtained with score of 81,25 in the “very good” category and the readability questionnaire by students obtained an average percentage score of 84,83% “very good” category. LKPD based on controversial issues is effective for improving social skill based on the results of observation of social skill with the Wilcoxon test output obtained a significance value of 0,003<0,005 and supported by descriptive output the average value of social skills 22,42 before and 30,83 after being given LKPD based on controversial issues.
