Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui persepsi petani, apakah terdapat perbedaan persepsi petani, faktor apa saja yang paling berhubungan dengan persepsi petani, dan tingkat pendapatan petani padi Cimalaya Muncul dan padi Ciherang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Bumi Restu dan Desa Bumi Daya Kecamatan Palas Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah proportional sample random dengan total sampel 86 petani. Penelitian dilakukan pada Bulan November 2013 sampai Januari 2014. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah survey. Hubungan antara variable diuji dengan menggunakan analisis Korelasi Kendall’s Tau_b dan perbedaan persepsi petani dengan uji beda Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) persepsi petani terhadap usahatani padi varietas Cilamaya Muncul di Desa Bumi Restu ialah lebih menguntungkan, sedangkan persepsi petani terhadap usahatani padi varietas Ciherang di Desa Bumi Daya ialah Lebih Menguntungkan, (2) terdapat perbedaan persepsi petani padi di Desa Bumi Restu terhadap usahatani padi varietas Cilamaya Muncul dan terdapat perbedaan persepsi petani padi di Desa Bumi Daya terhadap usahatani padi varietas Ciherang, (3) faktor-faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan persepsi petani terhadap usahatani padi varietas Cilamaya Muncul di Desa Bumi Restu dan di Desa Bumi Daya adalah tingkat interaksi sosial, sedangkan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan persepsi petani terhadap usahatani padi varietas Ciherang di Desa Bumi Restu dan Desa Bumi Daya adalah tingkat kebutuhan, (4) padi varietas Cilamaya Muncul dan padi varietas Ciherang di Kecamatan Palas, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan secara keseluruhan adalah menguntungkan. Kata Kunci : Persepsi, Padi Cilamaya Muncul dan Padi Ciherang. ABSTRACT This research aims to: knowing farmers perceptions, whether there are differences in theperception, what factors are most associated with the perception, the level of income of rice farmers Cilamaya Muncul and Ciherang. The study was conducted in the village Bumi Restu and the village Bumi Daya, Sub-District Palas, South Lampung regency. Determination of sampling using proportional random sampling method with a total sample size of 86 respondents. The study was conducted from November 2013 to Januari 2014. Research method used was a survey method. Inter-variable relationships were tested using analysis Partial Kendal correlation test, and perception differences examined with Mann-Whitney test. The result of research show that: (1) farmers perception the farm rice varieties Cilamaya Muncul at Bumi Restu village is more profitable, farmers perception the farm rice varieties Ciherang at Bumi Daya village is more profitable, (2) There is the difference perception between the farmers at Bumi Restu village on the farm rice varieties Cilamaya Muncul and there is the difference perception between the farmers at Bumi Daya village on the farm rice varieties Ciherang, (3) The factors that associated with the perception of farmers on Cilamaya Muncul rice varieties in Bumi Restu village and in Bumi Daya village is social interaction. Meanwhile the factors related to the perception of farmers on the Ciherang rice varieties in Bumi Restu village and Bumi Daya village is a necessity, (4) Cilamaya Muncul rice varieties and Ciherang rice varieties in Palas, Southern Lampung District as a whole is more profitable.
