Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Ekowisata merupakan suatu bentuk wisata yang bertanggungjawab terhadap kelestarian area yang masih alami, memberi manfaat dari ekonomidan mempertahankan keutuhan budaya masyarakat setempat. Namun, adanya pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan semua lokasiwisata harus tutup untuk menekan penyebaran virus Covid-19. Penutupan wisata menyebabkan pengunjung tidak dapat memasuki suatu kawasan wisata dan pelaku usaha tidak dapat menjalankan aktivitas wisata. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dikawasan Ekowisata Tangkahan yangterletak pada dua wilayah desa yaitu Desa Namu Sialang dan Desa Sei Serdang, Kecamatan Batang Serangan, Kabupaten Langkat, Provinsi SumateraUtara yang berbatasan langsung dengan Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser, pada bulan Desember 2020 hingga bulan Januari 2021. Pengambilan sampel pelaku usaha menggunakan metode sensus, sampel pengunjung menggunakan teknik insidental samplingdan Lembaga Pariwisata Tangkahan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara kuesioner, wawancara dan oberservasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisisdeskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaku usaha mayoritas jeniskelamin lakilaki, pendidikan tingkat SMA, jenis usaha mayoritas yaitu pemandu wisata dan pelaku usaha berasal dari Tangkahan. Pengunjung mayoritas perempuan, pendidikan tingkat SMA, pekerjaanmayoritas wiraswasta dan pengunjung mayoritas berasal dari Kota Medan. Dampak sosial Covid-19 yaitutenaga kerja di PHK, pelaku usaha pengangguran dan sedikitnya lapangan pekerjaan. Pelaku usaha tidak ada yang positif virus Covid-19. Pengelolaan Ekowisata Tangkahan sebelum dan setelah adanya pandemi Covid-19 mengalami perbedaan. Dampak ekonomi yaitu pendapatan LPT dan pelaku usaha sangat menurun ditahun 2020. Pelaku usaha mengalami kerugian modal akibat penutupan Ekowisata Tangkahan. Kata kunci: ekowisata, covid-19, pelaku usaha, pengunjung. Ecotourism is a form of tourism that is responsiblefor the preservation of unspoiled areas, provides economic benefits and maintains the cultural integrity of the local community. However, the Covid-19 pandemic requires all tourist sites to be closed to suppress the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The closure of tourism causes visitors to be unable to enter a tourist area and business actors cannot carry out tourism activities. This research was carried out in the Tangkahan Ecotourism area which is located in two village areas, namely Namu Sialang Village and Sei Serdang Village, Batang Serangan District, LangkatRegency, North Sumatra Province which is directly adjacent to Gunung Leuser National Park, from December 2020 to January 2021. Sampling of business actors using the census method, the sample of visitors using incidental sampling technique and the Tangkahan Tourism Institute using the purposive sampling method. Data was collected by means of questionnaires, interviews and observations. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the majorityof business actors were male, high school education, the majority of business types, namely tour guides and business actors, came from Tangkahan. Mostly femalevisitors education at the high school level, the majority of occupations are entrepreneurs and the majority of visitors are from the city of Medan. The social impact of Covid-19 is that workers are laid off, business actors are unemployed and there are few jobs. None of the entrepreneurs tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. The management of Tangkahan Ecotourism before and after the Covid-19 pandemic experienced a difference. The economic impact, namely the income of LPT and business actors, greatly decreased in 2020. Business actors experienced capital losses due to the closure of Tangkahan Ecotourism. Key words: ecotourism, covid-19, business people, visitors.
