Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi sosial ekonomi tenaga kerja industri kerupuk kemplang di Kelurahan Tanjung Makmur Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Empat Lawang Tahun 2020 yang dilihat dari tingkat pendidikan anak, jumlah tanggungan keluarga, status kepemilikan tempat tinggal, tingkat pendapatan keluarga, dan pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok minimum keluarga tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah tenaga kerja industri kerupuk kemplang sebanyak 21 orang, dan tidak menggunakan sampel karena anggota populasinya sedikit. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan persentase (%), data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel tunggal dan tabel silang, serta grafik garis untuk melihat perbandingkan dari sebuah data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Sebanyak 26 jiwa (59,09%) tingkat pendidikan anak tenaga kerja industri kerupuk kemplang berpendidikan dasar (Sekolah Dasar dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama). (2) Sebanyak 12 jiwa (57,14%) jumlah tanggungan keluarga tenaga kerja industri kerupuk kemplang termasuk tanggungan keluarga besar. (3) Sebanyak 10 jiwa (47,62%) status kepemilikan tempat tinggal tenaga kerja industri kerupuk kemplang adalah rumah kontrak. (4) Sebanyak 12 jiwa (57,14%) tingkat pendapatan keluarga tenaga kerja industri kerupuk kemplang termasuk kategori pendapatan rendah (< Rp1.844.286 per bulan). (5) Sebanyak 14 jiwa (66,67%) pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok minimum keluarga tenaga kerja industri kerupuk kemplang termasuk kategori tidak terpenuhi. Kata Kunci: sosial ekonomi, tenaga kerja, industri, kerupuk kemplang This study aims to describe the social economy conditions of the kemplang cracker industry workforce in Tanjung Makmur Urban Village, Tebing Tinggi Sub-District, Empat Lawang Regency in 2020, which is seen from the level of education of the child, number of family dependents, residence ownership status, family income level, and fulfillment of the minimum basic needs of families labor. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population in this study was the kemplang cracker industry labor as many as 21 people, and did not use a sample because the population members were few. Data collection techniques in research using observation, interview, and documentation. Analysis of the data in the study using descriptive analysis with percentages (%), data is presented in the form of single table and a cross table, as well as line graphs to see a comparison of the data obtained. The result showed that: (1) A total of 26 people (59,09%) education level children of workers the kemplang cracker industry with basic education (Elementary School and Junior High School). (2) A total of 12 people (57,14%) number family dependents of the kemplang cracker industry workers including dependents of large families. (3) A total of 10 people (47,62%) ownership status of the kemplang cracker industry workers residences are contract houses. (4) A total of 12 people (57,14%) the family income level of kemplang cracker industry workers including the low income category (< Rp1.844.286 per month). (5) A total of 14 people (66,67%) meeting the minimum basic needs of families workers of kemplang cracker industry included in the unmet category.
