Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi penggunaan whatsApp grup dalam pembelajaran sejarah pada kelas XI IPS 1 di SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sejarah yang disampaikan melalui whatsApp grup. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan analisis data deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan guru sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo. Hasil Penelitian bahwa tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sejarah berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan rumus presentase diperoleh hasil 44% dalam kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa penggunaan whatsApp grup dalam pembelajaran sejarah tidak efektiv. Kata Kunci : WhatsApp Grup, Pembelajaran Sejarah This research was motivated by the use of WhatsApp groups in history learning in class XI IPS 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of students' understanding of the historical material delivered through the WhatsApp group. The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive data analysis. The informants in this study were students of class XI IPS 1 and history teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo. The results showed that the level of students' understanding of historical material based on calculations using the percentage formula obtained 44% results in the low category. Based on the calculation results show that the use of WhatsApp groups in history learning is not effective. Keywords: WhatsApp Groups, History Learning
