Abstract
This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of economic growth, HDI (Human Development Index), and unemployment on poverty levels in Western Indonesia (KBI) and Eastern Indonesia (KTI). The data used in this study is panel data with a combination of cross-sections of 34 provinces and time series data from 2014-2020. This study uses secondary data sourced from Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS). This study uses the Panel Data Regression Analysis method with a Fixed Random Effect (FEM) approach. The results of this study indicate that economic growth in KBI and KTI has a negative and significant relationship to the poverty level, HDI (Human Development Index) in KBI and KTI has a negative and significant relationship to the poverty level, and unemployment in KBI and KTI has a significant relationship positive and significant impact on the poverty level in 2014-2020.
