Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Pembelajaran sejarah revisi kurikulum 2013 meminta peserta didik untuk menganalisis peristiwa sejarah dan menyajikan hasil analisisnya ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Kompetensi tersebut menunjukkan adanya proses berpikir tingkat tinggi. Sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran guru harus mampu memilih strategi pembelajaran yang tepat agar mampu mengarahkan peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis. Salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan agar tujuan pembelajaran tercapai adalah Strategi Metakognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian korelasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini yaitu nonprobability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik korelasi product moment pearson. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa 1) Nilai presentase dari ketercapaian indikator strategi metakognitif yang tertinggi yaitu indikator mentransfer pengalaman pengetahuan dan prosedural pada konteks lain pada kelas XI IPS 2 sebesar 97,42% dan indikator merefleksi prosedur secara evaluatif pada kelas XI IPS 4 sebesar 96,69%. 2). Nilai presentase dari ketercapaian indikator Berpikir Kritis yang tertinggi yaitu indikator analisis (menganalisis, mengaitkan data) pada kelas XI IPS 2 sebesar 96,47% dan indikator interpretasi (menafsirkan) pada kelas XI IPS 4 sebesar 94,11%. 3) Terdapat pengaruh strategi metakognitif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Sribhawono Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik product moment pearson, dihasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,013. Sehingga diambil keputusan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak yang artinya ada pengaruh strategi metakognitif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dikarenakan nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh lebih kecil dari 0,05. Kata Kunci: Berpikir Kritis, Strategi Metakognitif. So that in the learning process the teacher must be able to choose strategies appropriate learning in order to be able to direct students to think critical. One of the learning strategies that can be used so that the learning is achieved is the Metacognitive Strategy. This research uses correlation research methods. The sampling technique of this research is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling type. Data analysis technique this research uses Pearson Product Moment Correlation statistical analysis. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that 1) The percentage value of the achievement of the highest metacognitive strategy indicator namely indicators of transferring knowledge and procedural experience in context others in class XI IPS 2 by 97.42% and indicators reflect procedures evaluative class XI IPS 4 is 96.69%. 2). Percentage value of the achievement of the highest Critical Thinking indicator is the analysis indicator (analyzing, linking data) in class XI IPS 2 is 96.47% and the interpretation indicator (interpreting) in class XI IPS 4 is 94.11%. 3). There is an effect of metacognitive strategies on critical thinking skills students in class XI social studies history at SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Sribhawono Academic Year 2021/2022. This is evidenced by the test results hypothesis by using Pearson's product moment statistical analysis, the resulting significance value of 0.013. So it was decided that Ha accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is an influence of metacognitive strategies on students' critical thinking skills due to the significance value obtained smaller than 0.05.
