Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Indonesia merupakan Negara dengan masyarakat multikultural yang memiliki beragam ras, agama, dan budaya yang berbeda. Salah satu tradisi Jawa yang masih ada di Desa Telogorejo adalah tradisi baritan. Baritan merupakan sebuah tradisi yang di wariskan nenek moyang untuk generasi selanjutnya. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana latarbelakang tradisi baritan di Desa Telogorejo. (2) Faktor apa saja yang mendorong masih adanya pelaksanaanya tradisi baritan di desa Telogorejo. (3) Apa perubahan pelaksanaan tradisi baritan di desa Telogorejo dari dulu hingga sekarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Telogorejo, Kecamatan Batanghari, Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Informan Penelitian adalah masyarakat Desa Telogorejo yang mengetahui terkait tradisi baritan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif terdiri atas pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) Pelaksanaan tradisi baritan yang ada di Desa Telogorejo dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya nenek moyang terdahulu yang berasal dari Jawa. (2) Faktor yang mendorong adalah faktor agama, faktor sosial, dan faktor budaya. (3) Adapun perubahan tradisi baritan di Desa Telogorejo dari dulu hingga sekarang berupa pembacaan doa, penghapusan hal-hal yang berbau mistis, serta partisipasi masyarakat. Kata kunci :Eksistensi, Tradisi Baritan, dan Era Milenial Indonesia is a country with a multicultural society that has a variety of different races, religions and cultures. One of the Javanese traditions that still exists in Telogorejo Village is the baritan tradition. Baritan is a tradition passed down by ancestors for the next generation. The problems in this study are (1) What is the background of the baritan tradition in Telogorejo Village. (2) What are the factors that encourage the implementation of the baritan tradition in the village of Telogorejo. (3) What is the change in the implementation of the baritan tradition in the village of Telogorejo from the past until now. The method used is a qualitative method. The research location is in Telogorejo Village, Batanghari District, East Lampung Regency. Research informants are the people of Telogorejo Village who know about the baritan tradition. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative data analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: (1) The implementation of the baritan tradition in Telogorejo Village is motivated by the existence of previous ancestors who came from Java. (2) The encouraging factors are religious factors, social factors, and cultural factors. (3) The changes in the baritan tradition in Telogorejo Village from the past to the present are in the form of reading vows, eliminating mystical things, and community participation.
