Abstrak

ii ABSTRAK RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM IRIGASI CURAH (SPRINKLER) JENIS CHALLANGER Oleh Khomsin Romadon Tujuan penelitian rancang bangun sistem irigasi curah (srpinkler) jenis challanger adalah untuk melakukan analisis hidrolika dan jaringan perpipaan, penentuan panjang maksimal pada jaringan pipa lateral dan jaringan pipa manifold. Penentuan jumlah nozel dan jarak maksimal antar nozel dan evaluasi perhitungan jaringan perpipaan dengan data lapangan. Hasil perhitungan volum bak penampung air yang dibutuhkan sebesar 1,8 m3 dan pompa sebesar 198,798 watt untuk penyiraman dengan luas lahan 448 m2 selama 1 jam penyiraman. Jaringan pipa lateral yang digunakan berdiameter 13 mm (0,5 inchi), pipa manifold pipa yang digunakan berdiameter 19 mm (0,75 inchi). Nozel yang digunakan adalah nozel jenis challanger dengan debit 0,03 l/detik, jangkauan curahan 4 meter. Hasil penelitian jangkauan curahan pada tekanan 1 bar terjauh yaitu sebesar 2,69 meter, yang terendah yaitu sejauh 2,20 meter. Jangakauan curahan pada tekanan 1,5 bar terjauh yaitu sebesar 3,19 meter dan yang terendah sejauh 2,44 meter. Debit curahan pada tekanan 1 bar tertinggi sebesar 0,016 liter/detik. Dan debit curahan yang terendah yaitu sebesar 0,012 liter/. Pada tekanan 1,5 bar debit curahan terbesar yaitu 0,021 liter/detik, sedangkan terendah adalah sebesar 0,014liter/detik. Saran dari penelitian ini untuk irigasi challanger agar menghasilkan curahan yang maksimal maka jarak antar lateral 6 meter, dan jarak antar sprinkler 3 meter. Koefisien keseragaman pada tekanan 1 bar adalah sebesar 82,9%. Sedangkan untuk tekanan 1,5 bar koefisien keseragaman yang mampu dihasilkan adalah sebesar 93,7%. And the outpouring of the lowest discharge is equal to 0.012 liters / . At a pressure of 1.5 bar discharge largest outpouring ie 0,021 liters / sec , while the lowest is equal 0,014liter / sec. Suggestions from this study for irrigation Challanger to produce an outpouring of the maximum distance between the lateral 6 meters , and the. distance between the sprinkler 3 meters. Uniformity coefficient at a pressure of 1 bar was 82.9 % . As for the pressure of 1.5 bar are able to produce uniformity coefficient is equal to 93.7 % .
