Abstract
Airport is a facility of airplanes where can take off and land. In the airport there are several facility, on the land side and air side. One of the main facilities on the land side is the terminal building. This province has a main airport, namely Radin Inten II, which is located in South Lampung Regency, 28 km from the city center of Bandar Lampung. Radin Inten II Airport has now become an international airport which was inaugurated based on the decision of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number KP 2044 of 2018. The provincial government make a plan to build Terminal II of Radin Inten II Airport, with the aim of maximizing the airport’s function as an international airport. By providing spacious and comfortable terminal facilities for prospective passengers. The purpose of designing an airport terminal with the concept of ecological architecture is to create a stability or balance of the ecosystem. By using renewable energy today, also paying attention to environmental conditions, making architecture that is environmentally friendly and sustainable. It is hoped that using an ecological architectural approach can add artistic value and give the impression that buildings can use environmentally friendly materials.
