Pada penelitian ini hendak mengkaji tentang fenomena artis menjadi model Bela Negara. Bela Negara merupakan kewajiban setiap warga negara sesuai dengan pasal 27 ayat 3 UUD 1945. Pemahaman warga negara tentang kewajiban Bela Negara belum sepenuhnya dipahami, asumsi yang berkembang saat ini ialah Bela Negara hanyalah merupakan tugas seorang TNI. Nasionalisme pada warga negara mengalami degradasi yang disebabkan oleh globalisasi dan berimplikasi pada menurunnya kesadaran Bela Negara. Menurunnya kesadaran Bela Negara tersebut menjadi perhatian khusus bagi Kementerian Pertahanan Republik Indonesia yang salah satunya berfokus pada Potensi Pertahanan. Berbagai inovasi dalam menanamkan kesadaran Bela Negara kepada masyarakat telah dilakukan oleh Kementerian Pertahanan salah satunya melalui program ‘Ngopi Daring Bela Negara’ yang disiarkan melalui platform digital dan memanfaatkan artis sebagai model baru dalam Bela Negara karena keberadaannya dianggap lebih akrab dengan masyarakat digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif serta melibatkan informan dari Kementerian Pertahanan, Artis dan juga masyarakat digital. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa inisiatif tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh perhatian Kementerian Pertahanan oleh kondisi nasionalisme masyarakat pada saat ini dan dalam pemilihan artis yang dapat menjadi bintang tamu merupakan seseorang yang berprestasi. Para artis juga dapat memaknai Bela Negara sesuai dengan prestasi di bidang keahliannya masing-masing sehingga masyarakat digital merasa termotivasi dan tergugah untuk turut menyebarkan nilai Bela Negara. Kata Kunci : Bela Negara, Artis, Ngopi Daring Bela Negara This study wants to examine the phenomenon of the artist being a model for the State Defense. State defense is the obligation of every citizen in accordance with Article 27 section 3 of the 1945 Constitution. Citizens' understanding of the obligation to defend the state is not fully understood, the assumption that is currently developing is that state defense is only the duty of a military person. Nationalism in citizens is experiencing degradation caused by globalization and has implications for decreasing awareness of State Defense. The declining awareness of State Defense is a special concern for the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, one of which focuses on Defense Potential. Various innovations in instilling awareness of State Defense to the public have been carried out by the Ministry of Defense, one of which is through the 'Ngopi Daring Bela Negara' program which is broadcast through a digital platform and utilizes artists as new models in State Defense because their existence is considered more familiar with digital society. This research uses qualitative methods and involves informants from the Ministry of Defense, Artists and also the digital community. Research shows that this initiative is motivated by the attention of the Ministry of Defense by the current state of nationalism and in the selection of artists who can become guest stars, they are someone who excels. Artists can also interpret State Defense according to their achievements in their respective fields of expertise so that the digital community feels motivated and inspired to participate in spreading the values of State Defense.
