Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
The objective of the research was to understand the impact of principal’s managerial and academic supervision competencies on teacher professionalism of public junior secondary school in Punggur Regency Central Lampung. The subject of the research were 30 teachers of two public junior secondary schools in Punggur regency. This research was quantitative with expost facto approach which aimed to study the appeared fenomena and its causal factors. Data collection method was questionnaire with Likert Scale was used to collect the data at the research. The data analysis method used simple linear regression and double regression. To know the equation of regression is using T-test and F-test. The results of the research showed that the impact of principal managerial competency toward teacher professionalism in public junior secondary schools in Punggur was 63,0%, and the impact principal academic supervision competency toward teacher professionalism in public junior secondary schools in Punggur was 63,4%, at last the impact of both of the principal competency toward teacher professionalism of public junior secondary schools in Punggur was 77,9%.`It were meaned that there were some significant impact between principal managerial competency toward teachers’ professionalism at public junior secondary schools in Punggur Regency Central Lampung, and there were positive significant impact between principal’s academic supervision toward teachers’ professionalism at public junior secondary schools in Punggur Regency Central Lampung, and also at the same time there were positive significant impact of both principal’s managerial and academic supervision competencies toward teacheres’ professionalism at public junior secondary schools in Punggur Regency Central Lampung. Key words: Managerial Competence, Academic Supervision Competence, Professionalism of Teacher Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan kompetensi supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Punggur Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang guru yang mengajar di 2 SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peristiwa yang telah terjadi dan kemudian merunut ke belakang untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya peristiwa tersebut. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket degan Skala Likert. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan persamaan regresi linier sederhana dan regresi ganda. Untuk mengetahui kebermaknaan persamaan regresi digunakan uji T dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Punggur sebesar 63,0%, pengaruh kompetensi supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Punggur sebesar 63,4%, kemudian pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan kompetensi supervisi akademik terhadap profesionalisme guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Punggur sebesar 77,9%. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan siknifikan antara manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru di SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Punggur Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan siknifikan antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru di SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Punggur Kabupaten Lampung Tengah dan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan siknifikan antara manajerial dan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru secara bersamaan di SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Punggur Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Kata kunci: Kompetensi Manajerial, Kompetensi Supervisi Akademik, dan Profesionalisme Guru.
